Great place

The property and the view is amazing. Everything was how the pictures looked and being in a gated community felt even more safe. It was amazing. Will be back for sure.

Amazing view, excellent facilities

Scoo was a gracious host, n gave us cheese cake upon arrival to help celebrate Xmas n wedding anniversary. This place is exactly as described, beautiful, comfortable bedding n warm. The spa was perfect temperature every time we went in. The weather was phenomenal with the lightning and rain fall. . It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Definite recommend n would book again Bravo Zulu

Fantastic Weekend!

If you want to have a weekend, you will not forget, make sure you stay at Spindrift! Scott and Patricia put meticulous thought into designing a special rental. They thought of everything, gas firepit, bbq, and a hot tub, with lots of privacy on the outside. Inside the house, full kitchen, king size bed, washer and dryer, and a fantastic walk in shower with rain fixture. With all that said, the best part, are the amazing views! I have already told most of my friends, but everyone looking for a relaxing or romantic weekend, should stay here!

A cottage with unforgettable views

The location of this modern and beautifully designed cottage is simply stunning. Whether you are sitting in the living room, lie down in the bedroom, sit in the hot tub or take a shower - the expansive view of the coastline will be with you. It is simply breathtaking. We hope to come back here again and make it our base for exploring the Oregon coastline hikes and the natural "cathedral" Redwood forests of northern California. What Scott and his wife have built on this land will always resonate with us as something that we would build for ourselves. Their house and cottage are rare examples of personal connection to the land, strong sense of good taste in architecture and most importantly the personal grit and dedication to design and build such a special place.
