About this space
Perfect central location, quiet area and an ocean view from our expansive deck; lovely for morning tea. BBQ and Sunset dine to an ocean backdrop; then retire to the soothing hot tub. When the ocean is roaring, enjoy the sound of the waves. Only 1/2 mi stroll to the tucked away neighborhood Beach; large with tidepools. 1 mile to Downtown; hip restaurants/bars. 6 min drive to Harbor Port (buy fresh crab/seafood). 1 Mile bike ride to Harris Beach and the start of 27 miles of coastal hiking trails.
The space
Inside you'll find a homey atmosphere, creatively decorated, and thoughtfully planned for true comfortability. Plenty of seating with two full sofas, nicely stocked kitchen with indoor and outdoor drink and dinnerware, crab utensils, blender, crockpot, and even tippy cups for the toddlers. There's even Margarita, Martini, and Wine glasses. We tried to think of everything. Wi-fi and work station. 3 Smart TV's. 3 Bdrms, one King, one Queen bed. 3rd bdrm has a sofa bed with tv and shelf below so the kids can sit and enjoy their game console (not provided) while you enjoy the hot tub. Playing cards, games, coloring books and big kid books in the coffee table drawers for your family entertainment. Fenced backyard off the huge deck. 80 ft length to park a boat in front of home.

Cute place in a nice quiet neighborhood. Loved the hot tub and the kitchen with every dish or utensil you could possibly need!

We really enjoyed our stay, we came to go deep sea fishing. The hot tub and the proximity to the beach made this house perfect. And the check in process was super easy. Thank you, we will be back.

Great place for 2 couples. Plenty of space inside and out on the deck. Very quiet neighborhood. Information book for all things you could want. There was a great beach within walking distance. Great restaurants and things to do were a short drive. We would definitely come back to Brookings because we didn’t have a chance to do all the things. And we would definitely stay here again!

The house was cute, the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The bedding smelled clean and fresh. The neighbor seemed friendly and quiet.

Overall this is a great spot to spend the weekend! The hosts included a binder with suggested restaurants and hikes, which came in handy.The decorations are cute, the couches and beds are very comfortable, and it really is a very short walk to the beach. Including dishes that are safe for outdoor use was an excellent choice to be less concerned about breaking anything on the deck. The kitchen is nice, and the hosts kindly supply a selection of spices to cook with.The only downside was something strange going on with the hot tub (it was filled with what looked to be soap bubbles when we first opened it) but it's entirely possible that was just something from whatever cleaning treatment their cleaning service the property manager uses and isn't the fault of the owners.If you're looking for a spot to stay in Brookings this is a good choice!
