This is simply a lovely cottage situated on my property 1000 feet above the Pacific Ocean on clear days you can see forever,the house itself sports a beautiful bedroom with top of the line mattress and bedding, the living room offers a leather couch that folds out to full size comfy bed. Also a single comfy futon. I provide Wifi and dish satellite TV with surround sound. If it is peace and quiet you are looking for, then I am 100% sure you will find this the perfect place,
For all those uncertain about the fall on the coast! October is always the perfect weather! Clear,sunny and usually warm during the days. It’s like the quiet before the storm. Just beautiful. Did I mention the sunsets?
Now it’s winter! And the winter storms are sometimes spectacular up here, strong winds and ominous skies.
If that attracts you, then come on up to the top of the mountain. You gonna love it.

Beautiful rental and setting, close to the great Sequoia trees, beaches & hiking trails.

The owners are friendly and offered some great ideas for restaurants and things to see and do. The house and property are beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the deck, views and wildlife.

Enjoyed our stay. Property s beautiful . Nice ocean view. Only downside, limited hot water and about a mile up a curvy road.

Perfect coastal getaway

This cottage is roomy, luxurious, with beautiful antique furniture. Off the beaten track, it offers great ocean views and tranquility but is a quick drive into Brookings. Peter and Nicky are helpful, gracious hosts.

Beautiful cottage, will definitely stay here again!

Peter was very kind and helpful to us. He wasn't in town while we were there, but he checked in to make sure things were going well. The cottage was beautiful with amazing views! We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. We highly recommend this place for your next stay in Brookings!

Beautiful views and quiet place. Cottage is great and very comfortable nice and clean. The hosts are very friendly and considerate. They are the kind of people you would like to be your friends!

This cottage was very clean and comfortable.

Our stay here was very pleasant, everything we expected. A beautiful view, very quiet and serene. Would stay there again, if ever in Brookings. Nice to have the ocean and Redwoods so close together. The owner very accommodating and available. Dee, Amy, Kyle, and pups.

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful time staying in your cottage. It was very cozy and had all the comforts of home. It felt like home away from home! The view was amazing and seeing the elk family was a treat! We loved it and hope to return soon. Thank you for everything Peter and Nicky!

Perfect anniversary get away

From first booking the trip to driving home our trip was perfect. Nicky and Peter were great hosts. They made sure we found the house and showed us around the property even though we arrived late. The house was well stocked and very clean. We were by a small elk herd one morning just outside the back deck. The location was great for exploring the Rogue River and the Redwoods. We highly recommend staying at Nicky and Peter’s place. What a beautiful place to celebrate our anniversary!

Cozy and very well kept with excellent views.

Overall a very good experience. Excellent views. Nicki was helpful checking in then left us alone which is nice. As long as you do not want to be walking distance to the beach, would highly recommend.

Wonderful

This place is spectacular. The views from there are incredible. We were greeted upon arrival, and given a quick tour of the property. The owners are very nice and helpful. The place was spotless. We even woke up to elk on our last morning.

Beautiful! The perfect spot

My husband and our little pup came here and just had the best time. Nicky and Peter are wonderful and have everything here to make you feel comfortable. The views of their garden and land, over the ocean, just breathtaking. The bed is SO comfortable, and the gated deck was perfect for our dog Indy so we could all relax out there. Very nice grill and just wonderful stay. We didn’t realize this spot was so high up - feels like you’re above the clouds, it’s amazing! So close to pelican beach, Stout Grove, etc. we just had the best time. Highly recommend.

This property is absolutely unique. One of the best accommodation I stayed at. Peaceful, beautiful ground, view of the bay. The rental is an entire house, very well appointed, spacious, and ultra clean. Very comfortable queen bed. The rental faces the bay and the view between the trees is stunning. The owners have a separate house on the same lot. Lots of attention to details: power cords, candle outside, recommendations, etc. Owners are very welcoming and thorough. The grounds are stunning with fruit trees, magnolias, flowers. Really loved it - I wish I could have stayed much longer. Next time!

Lofty Castle in the Sky

I was privileged to spend 4 glorious nights with rich colorful sunsets in this beautiful and comfortable home. It has close proximity to the Sam Boardman Corridor which is worthy of every viewpoint stop that reveal views of the wild rugged Oregon coastline and beaches. It was also close to Jedediah Redwoods for commune with ancient giants and also to explore Tolowa Dunes. I slept soundly and hope to stay again in this mighty fortress. The deck is the place to be sipping caffeine for peaceful mornings with the hummingbirds and deer. The sunset demands an audience. It’s also the place to relax and enjoy watching the ocean waves. I hope to visit again to enjoy the hospitality and views. Thank you!

Relaxzng countryside cottage that is view-tiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean cottage and it was a great location - close enough to town but felt like a world away. Relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view with refreshments and good weather was our favorite activity. The cottage felt spacious and the bed was ever-so-comfortable with the perfect coastal cool air temperature to sleep by. We ate out several times and then also BBQ'd (the BBQ was clean and worked well!). Peter, Nikki and Jack (the dog) are the perfect hosts and interesting people to converse with. They went so far as to modernize the coffee making after I inquired if they had a Keurig machine. While we were there, they surprised us with a new Keurig machine for the cottage and some coffee pods to use with it - it was so thoughtful of them. We hope to return many times in the future!

Very clean, very quiet, very great deck w views of hillside, trees, ocean!

We had a wonderful three-night stay in the private, comfortable, well-furnished cottage just up the hill from Peter and Nicky's home. The bed was plush, perfect for those who like to sink into their dreams, and at the foot of the bed is a big new sliding glass door facing southwest so we started each morning by pulling back the heavy drapes and enjoying the private pastoral view with ocean backdrop! Breakfast and evening cocktails on the deck, with they ocean beyond, and hummingbirds swooping in and out to visit the feeder. Never turned on the TV, it was so peaceful! Huge fridge, gas range. Peter and Nicky even supplied hummingbird food and an apple-picking pole so we could enjoy crisp fruit right off the tree! No problems with the drive up and down the hill; the pavement is in good shape and the rare oncoming motorist we met were polite and accommodating. Very nice stay.

Relaxing
