Quiet getaway, very relaxing weekend. Kitchen was stocked and house came with more staple items than expected such as TP, trash bags, dish pods. Beds were comfortable. Lots of things to do in and around the home. Enjoyed Peaks of Otter and Smith Mountain Lake.

Everything was awesome. Great host communication, always had the answer and ready to make it a great stay. Lots of stuff to keep everyone busy, even on a rainy day. Clean and well appointed house for our party of 7.

The house was perfect for our family of 7! Plenty of beds and lots of space. The house was clean and comfortable. The pool table was a hit with our boys and the hot tub was great for the girls. Water level was low so we could not enjoy the dock area, but our host gave us the heads up and we were expecting it. Overall communication was fantastic. I would highly recommend this house for your SML stay.

This place was advertised as expected. Very spacious, quiet, and comforting. The place was clean and easy to maneuver around. The hottub was clean and relaxing. We enjoyed the porch areas of the home. The owner was very prompt with communication via the Vrbo chat. The only downside (and the owner had absolutely no control over this) was the lake was significantly down due to drought. If you looking to do activities on the lake I would check the status of Smith Mountain Lake first. Not doing anything on the lake didn't hurt this trip at all for us and would rec. the space for anyone looking to relax and comfortably sleep 8.

The property was perfect. There was every opportunity to enjoy yourself. The game rooms were awesome, the porches were great. The hot tub, boat dock, etc all provided opportunities for fun, relaxation and conversation.

We used this unit for our Women’s Retreat this year and it was an EXCELLENT experience!! We had an issue with the unit not being serviced before we got there and the owner was on top of it immediately! Communication with the owner was awesome and very hospitable! The hot tub was nice a hot! The unit is very spacious and suitable for a small family/friend getaway! Tip: Bring extra towels, and your own “non stick” cook wear! If we are ever back at the lake we will be booking this unit again!

Thought of everything.

What a wonderful stay! The host thought of everything. All the appliances you could need. Even had my favorite hot tea in the cupboard. Lots of space. Homey but modern. My 18 year old and her best friend loved the hot tub and all the games. Beds were comfortable and communication with the host was prompt. 10 out of 10.

Great hot tub

Everything was excellent except for the 2 smoke detectors that decided to chirp at 11:00 pm. We had a hard time gettting them disconnected, one we couldn't even get the battery door to open but we didn't have another battery to put in anyways. No fault of the owner. Maybe leave some 9 volt batteries around if it happens again. We loved the hot tub & all the game tables to use. The house was well maintained & very clean.
