In a NO WAKE COVE with a GENTLY SLOPED LOT! Fast WIFI INCLUDED! We recently purchased this home and have painted and updated the furnishings. It is clean and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone! It is in a perfect mid-lake location, near the State Park at marker R-21.

Inside you will find fresh new linens and decor, comfortable furniture and brand new kitchen appliances. There is plenty to do to keep everyone busy on a rainy day or after sunset. There are 4 new flat screen TV's with Xfinity service, unlimited data wifi, a pool table, air hockey table, and foosball table, and an arcade style game machine.

Outside, it only gets better! This is what you come to the lake for! Huge new deck with plenty of seating and a large grilling area. The deck has expansive views of the cove and beautiful sunsets. There is a gentle slope to the dock that even the grandparents can do, with a pathway the whole way. There is a covered seating area at the dock, a floater with plenty of room to tie off a boat, and DEEP water. The dock is nestled just inside a no wake area, making it great for swimming and kayaking. There is an outdoor firepit with comfy new adirondack chairs. Also, new for 2021, we have removed the wooden pathway to the lake and replaced it with a concrete pathway!

Occupancy limit is set to 6 due to limitations of Bedford County rental permit.

Wonderful stay!

Great communication with owner, flexible, and the house is outstanding- plenty of space, great outdoor living area and the dock is easily accessible and in great shape. 5/5 and would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We returned to this house for a second time- plenty of space for adults and teenagers to enjoy themselves together or separate. Downstairs game room and bunk room is perfect for the teens. View from the dock is breathtaking- we spent several hours there reading and enjoying the water. We will be back for sure!

Great Girls Weekend

We loved staying at this beautiful property. It was well stocked, and we really appreciated that the kayaks were already there for us to use. Theresa was a great host, and communication was quick and easy. We would definitely come back again!

We love it here

Terry is so responsive! This is our second time staying at this property and to say we love it is an understatement. The dock and fire pit keep the kids busy 24/7. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we need And the house is just so perfect. We hope to return again.

A wonderful place!!

We rented this house for family coming up for my son’s wedding at a location at Smith Mountain Lake the house was beautiful, welcoming, and perfect for our stay. The owner made it easy for us, and was incredibly helpful and accommodating. A great place!

Quiet weekend getaway

We really loved this visit. The home was exactly as described and was the perfect getaway for our teenage boys who love to fish! Coming in fall allowed us to use the kayaks during warm days and the fire pit on the chilly nights. We would love to return to this lovely home again!

Beautiful getaway!

Very nice location with great view. Quiet surroundings. Everything in the house was in good shape and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and it was convenient that bed linens were included. Nice sitting areas outside. I would stay here again!

Family getaway

This property was clean and exactly as described in the listing, it was very peaceful & relaxing and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil and appliance we would need. We enjoyed kayaking in the cove where there was a no wake zone. Would definitely use this home again and highly recommend to my friends.

We decided on lake stay for summer vacation- great decision!!

Wonderful property! Great location. Lots of space & very comfortable. Fun amenities- kayaks, canoe, fishing & inside games. Evenings on the dock were the best! Rented a jet ski for a day- easy & reasonably priced.

Winter Getaway Weekend

My husband and I, and two other couples, stayed a long weekend at Challenge Accepted. The house more than met our expectations. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space, but also room for all six of us to watch a movie together. We spent as much time on the deck enjoying the view as the weather would allow. The walk to the dock was easy, and I would have loved to have had a fire in the firepit, but it was too windy. The property was clean, well-stocked, and the owner was very responsive. We highly recommend it and will stay at Challenge Accepted again!

Perfection

We rented this house for a mom getaway. It was even better than the pictures had shown. Very close to some fun attractions, including state, parks, and some shopping. I would definitely books this location again with no question. It is a wonderful place for a family trip as well.

Amazing lake getaway

Challenge Accepted was a very clean nice house. Plenty of space to spread out! Lots of pots, pans, dishes and even a crockpot! Would definitely recommend!
