Melrose Place - Kinnick's Best Game Day Experience

You will be in the heart of Iowa Football Tailgating with views of Kinnick Stadium and the Stead Family Children's Hospital. Soak in the college football experience with a pre game grill out before heading to the stadium to experience the WAVE first hand (pun intended) or find comfort and convenience in being close to the UIHC hospitals when you need to make this your home away from home.


Melrose Place is an excellent option for your next personal, group or corporate occasion.
Two parking spaces and an expansive 30' x 30' lower portion of the concrete patio is designated just for you on Football game days. This is the area with the umbrellas in the photos. Ample parking and access to the entire patio is available the rest of the year.

Inside on the main floor you will find a bedroom with king sized bed and views of Kinnick Stadium and the Children's Hospital right outside your window. Enjoy the newly renovated full bath and kitchen with coffee bar. Large screen TV in the living room can be enjoyed from the sleeper sofa couch.

Head upstairs to a private bedroom with two full beds and 3/4 bath.

In the basement you will find a full day bed along with the full size washer and dryer.

Parking available on the south and east (alley side) driveways of the house. Key pad entry.

Our stay

Couldn’t ask for a better location on game day. Our group had a blast. The only complaint we would have would be game day parking, but we made it work.

Great property & location!

We had a football weekend stay here and it was the perfect location for family and friends to meet for tailgating! The host was super easy to contact as well. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Labor Day Weekend, Iowa Football

This is THE place to stay on campus and perfect for Iowa Football. Clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is beautiful, perfectly set up and amazing views of Kinnick Stadium and the UI Children’s hospital. We had the best weekend and Melrose Place was the center of it all, 5 Stars!!!!!

Our daughter was getting married at the Marriott next door, so it was super convenient. It was well decorated and the owner was on top of everything. Beautiful house.
