Private Hilltop Country 3-Bedroom Home

This single family, rural wooded rental house is located on a 2 acre, farm adjacent lot, available for short term stays. The property offers a large front, side and backyard, beautiful views of pastures, woods, and sunsets and is located just 10 minutes (4 miles) from downtown Iowa City, the home of the University of Iowa & University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

The living area of the home is all on one floor making this ideal for families and those that prefer no stairs.

Bedroom #1 offers a queen bed with closet. Bedroom #2 offers two (2) XL twin beds and closet located adjacent to the main bathroom. Bedroom #3 (i.e. primary bedroom) offers a spacious layout with queen bed, TV, two walk-in closets and an en-suite three (3) piece bathroom.

Property owner resides next door providing easy and quick access for check-in/out or any assistance, as needed. The rental property is one of two (2) private homes on the lane.

Great place to stay wile in town for wedding

My family stayed here while in town for my son’s wedding which was located at Wilson Orchard just 10 min away! It was a perfect spot! The house was clean and comfortable and had all we needed! My 2 grandkids ages 10 and 3 enjoyed being able to play outside and loved meeting the owners dog Sadie! Check in and out was smooth and the communication was easy! Thanks again for a great stay! Highly recommend!

Great house for our family Thanksgiving

Great stay for our visit to Iowa City for a football game.

This place was great for our group as we came to go to the Iowa football game. It had everything we could possibly need and it was nice to have some room to hangout. It is in a great location as it is in the country so it’s nice and quiet, but only a 10 minute Uber away from downtown!

Golf trip

House was perfect for our group We played golf Friday and Saturday and spent the evenings on the back deck and grilled steaks Saturday night Great place to stay I would recommend it if you are going to Iowa city area

Relaxing, nice & quaint

The whole property was so adorable! My sisters and I enjoyed our time to catch up. Sitting out on the deck in the morning sipping on coffee…aaahhhh And town was so close by

Cute and comfy

Our stay here was amazing! There is so much wildlife around to enjoy but you’re also close to the city if you need something! Pam was great, always communicated quickly and it was nice knowing she is the neighbor as well. The place was clean and super cozy! If I ever need to come to Iowa again, I will definitely be staying here!

Quiet, rural setting with amazing fall colors

This place was perfect for us during a busy family wedding weekend. It was conveniently located to all our venues so we could escape "home" between events and truly unwind in the rural setting. Pam was very quick to reply to any questions I had, too.

Beautiful, well stocked county home

Quiet location. Roomy house. Stocked kitchen. So many towels and extra blankets. Very clean. We were so happy when we walked in. It was perfect for our family. We made breakfast each morning and enjoyed movie time in the evenings. They even left us a pack of shortbread cookies and some sparkling water. We would DEFINITELY book this house again when we are in the area.

Great Stay

We were in town for an Iowa football game. The house is great! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. There were small things included that made a big difference. Paper towels/soap/dishwashing liquid. It was so nice to have those things available, as we were only there two nights. The neighborhood is very quiet. We did try to get an uber to get to the game and didn't have much luck. We were able to get an uber to the house, just not from the house. I would recommend this property!

Iowa City Graduation

Pam's home was perfect for my family to travel to Iowa City for my son's graduation. The home was exceptionally clean, and was in close proximity to all events and activities that weekend. Would definitely recommend!

Regional Music Workshop

Clean and well situated property. Easy to work with property manager. Thermostat was a bit difficult to figure out (maybe add some instructions in the book?) and one of the twin beds needs a better mattress, but otherwise comfortable. Great washer/dryer and we loved the porch space and decorative lights in the evenings. Plenty of parking space.

Holiday stay in lovely country setting

We were visiting family in Iowa City for the holidays and needed a place that would feel homey enough for Christmas morning for our kids. This place was clean, quiet, and perfectly sized for our family. The owners, who live nearby, were friendly and kind. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

Wedding happening

This is a wonderful property. Nothing fancy but very functional. The rural setting is so nice. We invited Pam to stop by for a visit and it was a highlight of our time. Thank you for creating such a nice place for us to enjoy.

THE BEST!!!

Our stay was fabulous. Close to everything but off the beaten path in the quiet wilderness. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck with our coffee watching the squirrels, birds and deer. The home was clean and accommodating for five adults. One downfall is that the living room seating wasn’t great for all of us to watch tv, or even to relax after much visiting with our Iowa family.

Sibling/Spouses Get Away

It was perfect for us! We enjoyed the back deck both nights! It had a table and seating enough for the 6 of us. We had beautiful weather and that was great! We brought some extra bag chairs that came in handy when we sat around in the living room….which we didn’t do very often. A great stay! So peaceful!

We are local Iowa City residents of over 35 years. We live next door to the rental property on a beautiful acreage. Our house is a 100+ year old farm house with a barn and pond. We enjoy nature, woods, wildlife and quiet rural living and are knowledgeable about local recommendations.

Our home is located on the edge of town, providing a peaceful respite for us as well as visitors, while still being close to downtown Iowa City attractions. We have easy access of 5minutes to groceries, and coffee shops. The property is private yet we're available to guests as needed.
