Beautiful cottage in perfect location for wine tasting and exploring the area. Very clean and well maintained. Equipped with everything you might need for a girls weekend. Owners are very responsive and great to deal with.

New cabin

We attended a concert with another couple at the winery right down the road and the cabin was perfect for two couples since we each had a master bathroom. Loved the decor and it was very clean.

Wine weekend

This was a lovely place to stay for an overnight wine trip with friends. The owner was easy to communicate with and made it easy to access the property upon arrival. The cabin is new and very clean. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the close proximity to multiple vineyards.

Incredible experience

The property and cottages are beautiful. Sandy anticipated our every need. She replaced the Adirondack chairs with rocking chairs and cushions so we would be more comfortable. The cottage is spotless and beautifully decorated.

Wine and Music

The cottage was well-equipped and a great location for exploring wineries. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the beautiful wooded views. And very convenient for wine tasting and a concert at Jones Von Drehle. We will definitely come back!

Family weekend for wedding

The cottage was beautiful!! Enjoyed everything about it..the inside was gorgeous and right amount of room for the 3 of us. It was a nice quiet location. Will return!!! 😊

Perfect for two couples

Great location for hiking Stone Mountain and visiting wineries. Basic but well stocked. Comfy beds. Well stocked with dish soap, soap and conditioner. Could use shampoo as well as a coffee table between the sofa and love seat.

Truly Enjoyable

What an amazing cabin! We completely enjoyed our stay at Malbec 1 and would not hesitate to come back! Immaculately clean, comfortable and was as described. Our only disappointment was having to leave to come home to Florida. The owner, Sandy, kept in contact throughout our stay and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this awesome cabinet n! Thank you Sandy for an amazing stay!

The cottages at Jones von Dhrele are spacious and lovely. The location is perfect for visiting the next door winery and to attend one of the winery's concert series (which we did). The location is on the outskirts of the Elkin Valley wineries but we have been to wine country multiple times so navigating the different locations was easy for us. We enjoyed the beautiful, quiet,woodsy setting which is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway (even without visiting the wineries)The cabin was spotless and is the perfect size for 2 couples. It is equipped with a kitchenette and full size refrigerator- perfect for a lite meal or simply sipping some wine on the porch.Our hostess was VERY responsive and even left some birthday treats to acknowledge our friend's birthday.We would love to stay there again!! Which, pretty much says it all!!!

Girls trip!

It was great! So many great wineries to visit during our stay. The location is private and close to most everything. You can take a nice walk on the road. The cottage is beautiful and has everything except a cooktop stove, so take note if that is a necessity. For us, it wasn’t. The coffeemaker leaked our first morning but the owner came to the rescue with a replacement in less than 30 minutes. Overall highly recommend!
