Beautiful custom home, fully handicapped accessible, and completely kid friendly! Your dogs are welcome, and there is an enclosed area off the deck especially for them. Wireless internet, cable, and local phone line. Relax by the gas fireplace with a book or games (puzzles and games provided). Or go outside to relax in the hot tub built into the large deck. Sleeps 10 in beds, 2 in sleeper sofa bed, and 2 more little ones in a crib or pack and play. Sofa sleeper is in second den with doors that close to create 5th bedroom. Dining table, extra table, and additional chairs to seat all sleeping guests. Just ask for any children's items you might need--we have toys, games, videos, booster, jog stroller, etc.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful, and just as the pictures showed. It was perfect for our famiiy, we had plenty of room to spread out, and cuddle up. The kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed. The views from the deck, and the street were anazing. We would stay here again!

Birthday Getaway

Katie was very attentive leading up to the stay and quick to answer any questions I had. The property was very clean and pretty well secluded, making for a nice, relaxing stay! I recommend her as a host!

Wonderful home

We stayed here 4 years ago and really enjoyed our time. I was a little worried that maybe things had changed (for the worse) and that was not the case. Very well stocked home. Nice location, quiet. The hot tub was a huge hit! Thanks so much Katie!!!

This is No cabin! Delux mountain home

We had a full house and everyone was comfy from toddlers on up! The kitchen/dining area was our constant hang out with family coming and going while we made the most of our stay. We loved it all and hope we are able to return in the future. Katie, the owner was just THE best!!!

Rocky Mountain Park Trip

Our family, which consisted of a 2yo, 11yo and 5 adults stayed in this lovely home. We enjoyed the large kitchen and deck with the hot tub. The laundry was a huge plus as well. We were very close to the park and the town of Grand Lake was lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in Grand lake

We enjoyed our stay at Katie's property! It was more spacious than anticipated. The outdoor area on the property is awesome- there's a large deck with a fire pit, a campfire and a kids playground. There were lots of games and toys. We definitely recommend Katie's place and would stay there again.

Good Stuff in Grand Lake

This was probably the best location for our yearly family trip. Close to Grand Lake yet it felt secluded. Fire pit area was a big hit with cooking and guitar playing. The house is tidy with plenty of space. Kitchen is open and allows for many chefs to spoil the soup. If we decide to go back to this part of Colorado, we will stay here again. Katie was very responsive and check-in was a breeze.

Child friendly and felt like home

What a fun spot to spend time! This house was perfect for our extended family to gather for the holiday weekend. It is close to Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park, and to multiple lakes which provides lots of things to do outside and the home has multiple spots to gather inside so we could spread out. The hot tub allowed us to watch the snow fall and the fireplace let us warm up afterwards. Our host responded quickly to any questions that came up and was very helpful. I highly recommend considering staying here!

Awesome getaway!

It was a great time had by our family of 14 and 2 dogs. The house was plenty big enough for us all to spread out, the back deck was wonderful to sit and relax morning and evening and the hot tub was perfect! The area was nice and quit to enjoy the outdoors. The kids like the playground area as well. If we come to the area again we would stay here. Thank you for having us Katie!

Amazing

We came to spread my Mother In Laws ashes so the rip was a little emotional. Everything about this home was amazing, plenty of room, very welcoming. Made the whole trip and process easier. Something I missed about Colorado was being able to sit on the porch and look at the beautiful view and I was able to sit on the back deck and drink my coffee and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I hope and pray that I am able to visit this home agasin.

Restful Retreat in Grand Lake

Katie’s home had more than ample room for all of us to spread out. Quite clean and tidy. The hot tub was great for the evenings. We loved the short drive to Grand Lake. This small town has its own character, is very community orientated, and is not overrun by commercial enterprises that you might expect. We struck gold in the Rockies by choosing this location.

Beautiful and quiet

Loved staying here! Took my daughter and her husband for a weekend getaway for her birthday and this was perfect. The house was very spacious, deck was amazing for all day use, night star gazing spectacular!

Amazing Family House

This was a wonderful place to stay with family. The cabin accommodated 3 separate families, two with toddlers. There were tons of games and toys for the kids. They loved the playground! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could ever want or need, including kids’ plates, utensils, and seating. The fire pit was incredible. We made many memories while making s’mores. Adult and kid sized picnic tables. The location was awesome with tons of wildlife. So close to the town and National Park. Katie was very helpful and accommodating. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. We will be back for sure.

Grand Lake Experience

Our time in Grand Lake and staying at Katie's Place could not have been better. The pictures of Katie's Place actually do not do it justice. Even better than expected. Very accomodating, with lots of amenities. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. The check-in process was very smooth and Katie was very communicative. Grand Lake is a wonderful little town to experience and of course Rocky Mountain National Park is incredible. We would definitely stay at Katie's Place again.

Moose! 😃

This house was very roomy and comfortable! We were able to see a mama and baby moose just outside the fence. 😍 The house is super close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mtn NP. We enjoyed staying here.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a VERY close neighbor to our vacation home. We can't be in Grand Lake all the time now, so we hope you will enjoy our home for us while we are away!

Grand Lake is home--to residents and travelers alike. It is a little slice of heaven, perfect for family time, outdoor activity, and peace. This house is SO EASY to stay in. The theme of our feedback and reviews is that all ages love it (something for everyone) and the house is very well stocked for all your needs.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

This home is a 1/4 mile from Highway 34 but you wouldn't know it sitting up on the ridge and enjoying the view. The property is around 1 acre with a huge kids' play structure, and campfire area with picnic tables and benches. Dogs have a fenced area right off the deck, so you can let them out without worrying the wild animals will get them! The hot tub is clean and built right into the deck to get in and out of easily. Kitchen is big, easy to use, has double ovens, gas range, and plenty of counter space. We have lived in Grand Lake for years, and have all the local tips, information, and connections you need!
