Your rustic lakeside retreat: Experience a slice of yesteryear in this 1950s-style lakeside cabin, offering a truly rustic ambiance and unpolished charm, framed by unspoiled Lake Chelan vistas. Embrace the tranquil seclusion of this pet-friendly getaway, with a roomy deck and electric BBQ perfect for enjoying your favorite meals and unwinding after a fun day on the lake. You will find a simple, no-frills dock for boat loading/unloading, and a buoy for overnight moorage. We typically keep a canoe or peddle boat available on the property for guests to access their boat or enjoy out on the lake.

There are stairs at this home, as well as a grassy area and dock that have unprotected drops. Small children and the elderly should be cautious.

Pet-Friendly: We're happy to host up to two well-behaved dogs with prior approval and a $50/pet fee. Please ensure pets stay on the property for this home.

Please note: During the peak summer season, there's a 7-night minimum stay with a Saturday turnover. Video cameras/noise monitoring may be present outside the home's exterior. Please be aware that lake and river levels fluctuate throughout the year, with the lake/river generally being lowest in the spring and at full height in July and August.

Great place to stay. About 20 mins from the main city of Chelan, so nice and quiet.

Rustic Adventures with a side of “Karen”

*Pros:* - Stunning lake views and easy access - Nice kitchen and living room area with newer appliances - Close to downtown Chelan (30 minutes) - Excellent customer service from Chandra at Vacation Chelan *Cons:* - Bedrooms and bathrooms need updating and are small and cramped - Rodent issue and hole in the wall (but quickly fixed by maintenance) - Pet-friendly policy is questionable due to neighbor's hostility towards pets *Overall:* - Great views and location, but some areas need improvement - Be aware of potential pet-friendly issues with the neighbor - Excellent customer service from Vacation Chelan

Great property

Wonderful house in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and even though there are houses on both sides it feels isolated. The property manager was easy to get a hold of, even on Sunday. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay! Some simple updates to the cabin would make the home even better. It’s simple for what we needed. The view on the deck made it all worth it. Perfect for a low key long weekend.

It was a great opportunity to stay at this property! It was everything that we needed and more! The owners were incredibly communicative and responsive when needed. Would definitely consider this property again if we ever come back out that way!

Great view

Great view and location to enjoy Chelan. It’s is a bit rustic as others have mentioned but is an old fishing cabin. (Ants, spiders, etc.) It has the amenities you want (ac, laundry) and if this place was spruced up a little would be amazing. (Deck, paint, bed frames) Overall a good stay but a little hard to get in the water for a swim if that’s what your looking for. We had an issue with the grill and e-mailed property manager and didn’t hear back.

Lake Chelan Getaway

Small cabin, no slider screen door, burnt outlets, air conditioner that spits water, very small amount of supplies given(bring your own TP, laundry soap, ect) and if you have dogs, don’t waste your time. Rich people don’t like dogs except for their own. And bring a life jacket for your dog if they fall off the retaining wall like ours did. If you have an emergency, good luck calling 911, no cell service and the phone in the cabin doesn’t work. Waste of $4000. Should have went to Vegas instead!!

Waterman’s dream

The property was great, we spent all our time fishing and kayaking, getting our kayaks to the water took some engineering and ropes. If you’re bringing your own boats it is best to launch them from the ferry terminal, it’s a very short paddle to the private dock. And a short one mile paddle across the lake makes for a great day trip to the the Mitchell creek campground. All in all my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Awesome location! If you are looking for a quiet lake getaway, this is the spot. Nothing to fancy, but in a great quiet location. Would stay again.

Private & cozy!

We loved our stay! It was the perfect size for our group and dog friendly was a huge plus! We were under the impression that there was a bunk bed in one of the rooms but that was not the case. Other than that, it was the perfect place for the type of weekend we wanted to have.

Beautiful & relaxing!

We loved our stay! This cabin outside of town, it is quiet! We loved that it is on the water. This cabin is as described, it is rustic….but that makes it charming. Great communication too. We would stay here again.

OLD CABIN, SLANTED FLOORS, SHOWER NOT MADE FOR ANYONE OVER 5'6"

I LOVED THE DOCK AND SERENITY OF THE LAKE, BUT THE CABIN WAS VERY OLD, BED FRAMES ARE NAILED TOGETHER AND VERY WOBBLY WITH HARD MATTRESSES, METAL ART ON WALL BALANCED ON NAILS ABOVE QUEEN BED IS DANGEROUS, AIR CONDITIONER TO BE SET AT 80, FAN IS HELD TOGETHER WITH ZIP TIES AND VERY NOISY, WINDOWS DON'T LOCK, DECK AND FLOORS INSIDE CABIN ARE SLANTED AND CREAK A LOT, ANYTHING PUT ON THE DINING TABLE WILL ROLL OFF, KITCHEN WAS STOCKED NICELY, TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS WAS GREAT, BUT I WILL NOT WANT TO STAY HERE AGAIN, FOR TWO NIGHTS IT IS WAY TOO STEEP AS COMPARED TO OTHER PLACES WE HAVE STAYED LIKE PEDERSON'S RESORT, WAPATO POINT, ETC. THE VERY STEEP DRIVEWAY, NO PLACE TO GO FOR A WALK, THE LAKE IS NICE AND CLEAR BUT VERY LOW IN SEPTEMBER.

State of property

Rotted wood deck unsafe, landscaping and staires terrible unsafe safe. Overall inside very outdated and falling apart. No easy access to water in and out. For the cost of the week would not recommend. Had to call for trash pickup so we would not be charged extra. Need to get rid of outdated items I. e. TV in spare rm. Takes up unused space, bunk bed is not practical and all mattresses are extremely old, worn and very uncomfortable.

Fantastic, quiet location, right on the shore

Nice cabin on the waterfront with amazing views looking across to the mountains on the opposite eastern shore makes for wonderful sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Very quite location far from the noise of the town of Chelan. We will likely stay here again.

Great little beach cabin!

This rustic cabin was perfect for a getaway with my family of 4 and dog. The large deck doubles the living space and we really enjoyed the canoe! We very much appreciated the life jackets being on the property. Would stay here again!

Amazing weekend on the lake!

We had an amazing time at Fields Point Cabin! The location was great…on the water with no properties across the lake, just lake and mountains in your view! The property shares a driveway with neighbors and is very close to the ferry. It had everything we needed including a fire pit! We would definitely love to rebook this property :)

Cabin is wonderfully placed on the water.

Very peaceful with the occasional ferry boat coming in. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Bring extra toiletries; TP, bar soap. Check the fuse box if outlets or lights don’t work, old cabin with several old style ungrounded outlets. Checkout day seemed rushed, 10am is early to us and the first ground crew was outside at 9am. Still give this a 5 star as the whole vacation experience was wonderful.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

This cabin is beautiful! We enjoyed a day of lounging at the house and the beautiful deck and yard kept us plenty entertained. It didn’t hurt that there was a canoe available as well. Then the next day we took a round trip ferry ride Stehekin because the ferry terminal was literally an easy walk. Our toddler loved it, and we appreciated a comfy spot to anchor for the weekend with an infant. The home was well equipped and had a great view from the living space. My husband enjoyed the big screen on game day, too.

Great spot - well managed

Lovely spot ,well up the lake so not a bunch of noisy boats and jet skis around. Check in was easy, and we had a great stay till the wild fire started in the next valley over and the evacuation notices came through! At this point the communication and follow up from the property management people was excellent. They called and texted several times to ensure we were getting current info, then to ensure we knew when we had to leave and knew where to go. They also refunded our costs for the shortened stay. We would go back in a heart beat. The AC was good, and it filtered out the smoke(!) its a great cabin. Also the mooring buoy off the dock worked well for our 18 footer. Couldn't find a coffee grinder so if you're fussy about your coffee pack your makings. This is not a criticism but the kitchen is equipped a little randomly, plenty of pots and pans and fine for family meals. But If you want to get all gourmet on it then plan on bringing a few things. Thanks for a great stay, we had a great time, and the airshow was awesome.
