Imagine finding the perfect cottage on Hilton Head, just minutes from the beach and stunningly appointed with lowcountry touches all in a gorgeous tropical setting. If you've found that perfect spot, you must be in 25 Night Heron Cottage!

Just inside the south gate of Sea Pines, this small private community is waiting for you to unwind beneath majestic pines and native Palmetto trees, all while enjoying an updated and contemporary cottage. Walk inside and you will be surrounded by tasteful, coastal touches where every room is designed for comfortable, lowcountry-style living. From the well-stocked kitchen to comfy bedding, this villa will charm you from start to finish. Entering the villa, you are immediately welcomed by expansive windows that frame the lush area surroundings. This residence boasts an open-concept layout with vaulted wood ceilings and a wrap-around private deck (with gas grill), beckoning you to settle in and relax, island style.

The updated living room is well appointed with comfortable seating for four, designed with lowcountry touches including a floating chair perfect for watching your favorite TV shows or movies. Dine inside or out, your choice, as both are easily accommodated with outside seating on the deck. The kitchen is fully equipped, everything needed to cook a special seafood feast after a day at the beach, or just a quick bite between beach times. The cozy bedroom offers a kIng-sized bed with ensuite bathroom. Additional sleeping is available via the sleeper sofa in the living room.

NIght Heron guests enjoy a private community pool located just down the walkway. Each property has its own wrap-around deck with lagoon views — a delightful spot for relaxation after a day at the beach or a round of world-class golf. Relaxation overlaod !!

The beach is just a quick 5-minute stroll from the house. Beach gear (wagon and chairs) are provided. Just remember to bring your flip flops! Whether seeking a serene retreat or proximity to nearby shops and restaurants, this villa is the perfect haven for small families or couples in search of accommodations that are private, have great beach access and are not located in a high rise condo community. Some folks say this reminds them of a tree house; come check it out and see if you agree!

We do allow 1 dog . Check with agent on rules & restrictions. A cost of $30.00 plus tax per night will apply.

Little gem in Sea Pines

I loved staying at this sweet property! It is very comfortable, quiet and in a great neighborhood. Loved the beach access, trails and amenities that is offered at Sea Pines! Only 2 things really stood out preventing a 5 star “cleanliness” rating - with the hefty cleaning fee, I was surprised that a more detailed clean was not completed. Windows (inside and out) were dirty. Specifically, the inside windows had dog nose smudges and window sills were dusty. I noticed dog hair on the couch, which could have been cleaned off if vacuumed after the last guest. I ended up washing the interior windows and glass doors myself. The unit was well appointed and furnished nicely. Very comfortable! Loved spending time in the swing in the living room - super cozy! Others had mentioned the issue with the king bed and the slats - I noticed that something was off, as the bed was slanted down. The mattress was comfortable. The outdoor space was awesome, too - it was private, quiet and the deck was furnished nicely. Loved keeping the patio doors open and feeling the cooler air. I loved my stay in Night Heron - if my travels take me back to HHI, I would definitely look to rent this unit again. It was a peaceful, lovely stay!

Great

Great little place for me and my wife and our dog. It was clean and decorated very nicely. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a couple of nights. The bed and couch were both comfortable and there were beach chairs at the property to use. We would stay here again!

Great Location

Property is in a nice, quiet location. It’s very convenient to the beach. It’s ideal size for a couple and a pet. Would be very cramped for more than two people. Overall it was a nice place, but owners would be well served to put in a box spring or plywood support under the mattress. The bed is not very comfortable, the frame is weak, not compatible with mattress and allows it to sag. Our trip was overall great and we would stay there again if the mattress situation was better.

Ok, but fix the problems

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros-nice location-nice decor-clean, but details overlookedCons-Router needs to be replaced because not producing a strong enough signal for Roku TV in den to function. Reported issue but no one ever followed up after appearing on property to check the problem. Never could use either TV.-Bedframe needs to be fixed or replaced because supports are on the floor, or possibly broken. So mattress sags to the floor. Reported, but no response.-No dish cloth. Upon arrival had to wash the white bathroom rug that was filthy. Wet beach towel left in washer from previous renters.-Trash never picked up so my trash along with previous renters trash in garbage can.
