Place was beautiful and a very beautiful beach. Very well stocked with beach toys, chairs, board games and kitchen supplies for cooking family meals. Loved all aspects of this property.

This house was in a terrific location and we had a fantastic time at the beach. The area was quiet with great shells hunting to keep the kids busy. The house was just the right size for our group and was very well equipped.

Had a great week at Lagerheads. Great ocean front location. Plenty of room for large family.

This house was perfect for our multi-generational group of 9 (2 elderly folks, 2 couples in their 40’s, and 3 young adults). There was lots of space for everyone, and all were comfortable. The access to the beach is perfect, and the views from the house beautiful. Having stayed in beach rentals before, one of the things I found most remarkable was how well-equipped the house is with everything needed for an easy stay. This place has an espresso maker, sharp kitchen knives (!), baking trays, and even a small wine refrigerator. We were never fumbling around, trying to cook without the necessary equipment. There were also games and a diabolically difficult jigsaw puzzle that we managed to complete, as well as a game room.I want to give a shout out to the property management folks at Sand and Sea, who were very communicative and helpful. We had a couple of minor problems that just took a quick call, and they had them solved.My only small suggestion is that the owners install blinds or a shade in the master bedroom on the top floor. The sun comes in pretty early, and there’s currently just a gauzy curtain.We all had a splendid week and I would highly recommend this house, Lagerheads, to any group that needs this configuration of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces.

Family Vacation

Fun vacation! Beautiful home! Comfy beds. Short walk to the sand/beach. Suggestion - be sure and clean the big window in the kitchen and dining area before guests arrive. Such a beautiful view to leave a cloudy/dirty window. Also smelled a bit musty - we might have been the first guests to stay in a while though, since it’s only April. We bought plug-in air fresheners that helped.

Overall stay was good and our group enjoyed our time. I did have communication issues. I messaged the host to ask if they had a grill which I was informed there wasn’t. I bought a portable one for that purpose only to find a huge grill right on the deck. I also requested for an hour early check in and did not get a reply until later, and was told to check in with the office, which was totally fine. When I called the office, the lady I spoke with said she would text me back if our place was ready, and I never received a text. It is a beautiful Airbnb but I feel it could use a more thorough cleaning. The portafilter in the coffee machine was completely full of leftover coffee grains, and the cushion covers for the couch have visible stains. We did have to air out the house because it did smell musty upon entering, which I did read on other reviews. And the kid room, my son slept in the top bunk and complained of seeing ants the first night. My husband and I only saw a couple to clean up, but we had him sleep on the bottom bed. The location made up for it being so close to the beach, and it is a beautifully decorated home. I think just a better job with communication and cleanliness and this place is the perfect vacation home.

Nice stay in good location

Overall the place is nice. Definitely has more of a damp basement smell. The bunkroom where the kids stayed had popcorn ceiling that was falling all over the beds. We did message about it but didn't hear back. That wasn't a huge deal. Super close to the beach access. And the kitchen was newly redone which was nice. Strange each bathroom didn't have toilet paper or hand soap which we had to buy while staying. Very few towels too so we had to continuously do laundry. But having a laundry room was super convenient! Would stay again, hope they do a few upgrades!
