Resting Beach Face (RBF) has been designed with the perfect island oasis getaway in mind. Come and relax by your large private heated pool with custom loungers, large and new back patio, and grill area. This modern 3-bedroom and 2 bathroom cozy home perfect for 1-2 families. Two of the three bedrooms are equipped with custom made king sized beds with brand new mattresses. The third bedroom has 2 queen sized custom made bed frames with a brand new mattress. This gorgeous redesigned home is perfect for two small families to come and spend a relaxing vacation. The spacious living room has been redesigned with a 65 inch flat screen television perfect for cuddling up and watching a movie after a long day at the beach. RBF has a kitchen that is open with both views of the living room and the pool. This is perfect set up to cook while safely keeping an eye on your children in the pool or in the living room. The kitchen has been redesigned to fit the needs of the ultimate cook. Down to the stainless steel appliances and endless cooking supplies, you will not need to bring anything from home. Resting Beach Face sits directly across the beach with ocean views from the front porch and public access a quick walk in both directions. RBF has beach chairs, beach wagons, sand toys, bikes, and enclosed child carriers that connect directly to the bike. RBF has everything that you need to have the perfect, private, relaxing vacation. All you need to bring are your clothes and your flip flops. This beautiful home is under new ownership and they have redesigned this beautiful home to meet the needs of their guests just as they expect when they go on vacation. This is truly the perfect getaway for a family or two families. RBF is a short walk away from the piers and a bike ride away from many of the local restaurants. If you want the perfect getaway without having to pack everything but the kitchen sink, then this is for you. Come and feel cozy, relax, and let us share our home with you. Our cleaning crew has taken and passed a course in COVID-19 disinfection. Property was perfect for our family- the kids lived in the pool and hot tub, despite the cool weather! The kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed. Penny checked in on us via text to make sure everything was ok. Would stay again!

Penny was fantastic ! We had one small issue and it was resolved in a couple hours !! House was very clean , rooms were great and pool was amazing !! Also great location !!

Property was great. All together the whole extended family had 4 houses on Oak Island, even with the other 3 houses being giants in another tax bracket the little Resting Beach Face became the go to hang out in the afternoons. Pool was great, house was clean, and AC system not only kept cool but did a great job keeping beach humidity to a zero. Only thing we would change is not brining to much of our stuff to the beach, no need for extra grill, corn hole, and chairs, they are already downstairs in the storage room for you.Owners were great, look forward to staying again in the future.

Very nice beach house on the second rowPool was clean and had nice loungers and umbrellas Owner was easy to communicate with and gave me access to her personal phone during our stayThe beach access was close on both sides but we found out the access to the left was much nicer. And had a blue mat that was easier to roll our carts down each dayAdequate towels and beach towels were great Owner had added comfy fluffy throw blankets to each room and we were thrilled to have them to usePlenty of beach chairs and beach equipment was a big bonusFront porch has an ocean view and several nice rocking chairsWe would stay here again in the future

Of course the hot tub and heated saltwater pool were great, but the things that put this property at five stars for us were having lots and lots of beach gear and a wagon, and the host was just super responsive and accommodating.

We were in town for the OKI marathon and had a great stay! Everything was very clean! Penny's communication was simple and prompt. We also all enjoyed the hot tub!

The host was very responsive and helpful. The location is great. Easy access to the beach and a great restaurant within walking distance. The house is just as described. The hot tub and heated pool were perfect.

This was an incredible stay everything in the home was well thought out for a family and the communication with the host was top notch. TVs with Roku in every room and a few baby items like toilet seat high chair etc. Bath and beach towel in each room plus a cozy blanket for the bed. Everything was thought of !! It is very conveniently located to walk across the street to the beach and the pool, hot tub and outdoor shower were highlights. Grocery stores near by and the kitchen is fully equipped so we never even ate out. Absolutely will be back

Awesome trip. The host Penny was very attentive to the needs of my family and always super fast in responce to any question I had. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and relaxing. Great overall bonding experience for my family.

This house was phenomenal! The location is great and just a few houses down from a easy access beach ramp (there are only a handful of the ramps on the island) so this was a huge perk for rolling wagons and coolers! The host is an absolute delight, super communicative and very accommodating! Rooms were fantastic and had towels and linens for each. Each room has its own AC unit so everyone was comfortable the whole trip. The front porch was a great spot to sip coffee and hang out in the mornings or late evenings. The pool was a huge perk, super easy to set up the space for a day of splashing and fun. The hot tub was an awesome addition as well in the evenings or first thing in the morning. Lots of open space to hang out both inside and outside. Plenty of cookware and utensils in the kitchen. Large table to eat together at as well. Large sectional was nice to pile up on and watch movies on the rainy days. Location is super close to the Publix and most of the other places the island has to offer. Also a short distance from one of the piers as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the space. My family has been vacationing in Oak Island since I was a teen and this by far has been the best stay yet and was a great place to introduce my kiddo to Oak Island and continue the tradition. We will most definitely be returning in the future because this place has everything you could ask for in a vacation spot! Cannot rave about this spot enough! A true gem on Oak Island!

Happy Place

Penny is an amazing host. The house was clean and well stocked with amenities. We especially loved the pool and the bikes. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great stay!

Great stay! Beautiful home, heated pool & hot tub were a big hit. Property manager very attentive to our needs & any questions we had. Would recommend & book again.

Love the location! Easy and quick to get around. We probably stayed in the heated pool most of the weekend and took in the sun. Communications were prompt. Recommend Kia joes taco stand and Salt 64! Easy access to beach, we enjoyed a long walk.
