Half of the amenities that made it any different from a hotel or a rental that’s 60 cheaper isn’t there. It was a flat out lie. There was no “kitchenette”, walls with weird stains on them, strange smelling bath towels, no shower curtain, and an AC that wouldn't adjust. The site claimed there was a communal pool in the amenities but when we get there and see the pool, it was dirty and unavailable to swim in which was the main reason we booked in the first place. Bookings like this remind me that hotels exist. Same price, more amenities, and free breakfast in the morning. Not to mention, the owner had us waiting in front of the house for at least 20 minutes because they would only give information upon arrival and were too busy to check messages within the designated check in time. The lack of cleanliness and the negligence in accurately listing proper amenities and procedures makes me feel that this rental is only here for the owner to make a quick buck and no actual semblance of care for guests.
