We loved the property and the town of Colonial Beach. Hosts provided everything we could have needed. Beach chairs and wagon, toiletries, games and activities. Property was clean and conveniently located.

The house was very clean and had every amenity we needed for a weekend stay. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and close proximity to everything. We loved the screened in back porch and backyard fire pit! The beds are very comfortable!

Everything was good, I was just under the impression that when it said we were a block from the beach, we would be able to swim there. That area of the beach was all rocks, so we had to drive to where we could swim.

Had a great weekend away with my girlfriends! House was clean, beds comfortable and had everything you could ever need. The hand painted bottle of Prosecco was just the cherry on top! Would stay here again!

Just a couple of thingsCoffee Maker did not work.Bottom of grill was rusted out & had fell out.Dog Hair on & around living room.Washer was full of wet towels & sheets when we arrivedOutside of that it was very nice

Thank you for your feedback, and we're sorry about the dog hair and the wet towels and sheets left in the washer. Our regular cleaner was unavailable so we had to arrange a replacement on short notice. Our spare linens were with our regular unavailable for the same-day turnover. That's not the standard we aim for, and we've order an additional back-up set to prevent it from happening again. Regarding the coffee maker, it's working, but it had become unplugged. We should have left clearer instructions, please feel free to message us during a stay if anything doesn't work, and we'll help right away. We're also sorry about the grill and have it replaced as soon as we can. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to host you again.

My parents and I enjoyed an extended weekend prior to Memorial Day, and couldn't have picked a better place. To echo so many other reviews, the house was super clean and well laid out, the location was perfect, and the host thought of everything. The one-level living turned out to be a big positive for facilitating mobility issues. We also just genuinely enjoyed the house, the hosts thoughts and recommendations, and engagement with the decor and literature while relaxing. It was such a thrill to find the perfect place for us to rejuvenate and enjoy our surroundings, even when we weren't out and about. We very much hope to be able to book again!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our long holiday weekend. The house was perfect. Exceptionally clean for being a pet friendly home. Great location (close to beach, boardwalk and Dockside Tiki Bar and Grill). All within walking distance.

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one stands out among the best. Everything was seamless in the rental itself, as well as exactly as described. It is a well-stocked house with everything you need. It even has a pretty impressive coffee station! Check out was easy and it was in a great location. Highly recommend!

My wife and I loved the cottage. Very quiet and pet friendly. Everything was provided. Roomy enough for my kids who live locally could visit. Would definitely come back. Neighborhood was super quiet.

Convenient location between the river and Monroe Bay. House was perfect for us and our dogs. The cottage had everything we needed. Questions and messages were responded to very promptly. I see us returning to the River Point again in the future.
