Unique 2 bed/2 bath unit at The Primary, the former Stone Lake Elementary School

In what is the former Stone Lake Elementary school, this unit is the combination of two units (a former classroom and the principal's office) to create a space comprised of a full kitchen, dining and living space with a king bedroom and attached bath, and secind bedroom with 2 queen beds and 3/4 bath. Please message us for info on seperate, smaller unit rates.

Please note that this is a dog-friendly property and there is no AC in the building.

While our apartments offer full privacy, our overnight guests will also have access to shared spaces in the building such as the hallway, and may also enjoy use of the gymnasium- with a signed release form found in the unit and when not in use by other guests- typically reserved Monday to Saturday from 9am to 3pm by the local pickeball association (message us for info on how to join & play during your stay).

Central location in the adorable town of Stone Lake, walk to local coffee shop, boutique and bar/restaurants, grocery & laundromat.

We have a half-circle drive by the front entrance for easy parking. If you are pulling a trailer or boat, there is plenty of parking on the right side of the building with pull through access.

Perfect stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Great location, easy check-in, and everything we needed for a wonderful trip. We will absolutely stay here again!

This is my first time using Vrbo or anything like it, and I was very pleased with this rental! Somehow it’s even cuter and cozier in person. Very clean and quiet area. Absolutely loved that my dog could stay with us.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Yoga classes in studio and pickle play in gym on Saturday. We did not participate as we're at family reunion on nearby lake but love the reuse of this school facility

This is definitely one of the most unique places we've ever stayed in. A legit elementary school--complete with lockers along the hallway and a gym! Such a great idea. And, the space itself was lovely. My dad stayed in the old principal's office (which was a huge two-bed room with its own bath), the living room/kitchen was (I think) the main school room and had a great kitchen and comfortable furniture and huge TV. The master must have been another classroom, and it was lovely with great storage and closet space and a nice bath to boot.Great place--made me smile every time we pulled up to it.

The communication from the owner was excellent. The unit is easy to access and has convenient parking. The unit was clean with upscale amenities and is nicely decorated. It’s was more spacious than what were expecting. We definitely recommend it and will go back again!
