The front yard overlooks a bay that provides a haven to abundant wildlife and a freshwater ecosystem habitat of a diverse variety of bird and animal species.
A dock is provided for access by canoe, kayak, or other small watercraft. Although the property does not offer a swimming beach, Lake Hayward has a beautiful public beach and boat landing only 4 minutes by car. The Hayward City Beach Park features a playground, public restrooms, an ADA fishing dock, a boat landing, and a picnic area.
