Welcome to Lac Courte Orielles lake! LCO is a spring fed 5139 acre lake with a max depth of 90 feet. The lake water clarity is very clear. Our cottage is located on the waters edge on a quiet private road great for walking, running and biking. It features 235 feet of shoreline to ensure privacy. This includes a private dock with two adirondack chairs to relax on at the end of it. This 1928 cottage was recently restored with a washer/dryer onsite. The cottage has two bedrooms, two baths and the living room has a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace. There is a fire pit and a charcoal grill available as well. Truly a unique relaxing location with a go back in time vibe.

The cottage is close to Hayward, Stone Lake and Spooner for day trip adventures or take advantage of this premier lake, by paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking. Sit back and listen to the loons call in a delightful location.

Winter activities are abundant as well. Enjoy the American Birkebeiner, snowmobiling or snowshoeing for fun!

Please note smoking and fireworks are prohibited on property grounds.

This was our third visit and as always everything was perfect. The cottage is so charming and has that "Up North" feel but modernized and the AC installed this year was a big plus.We hope to come back next year as this has been our favorite place to vacation. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

The photos did not do this place justice. We were very happy to walk in to find entire walls of windows for expansive views of the lake and surrounding trees. Our little dog never tired of watching the squirrels perform acrobatics while trying to eat every last berry off the trees outside the kitchen area windows. This is a very quiet and relaxing place to visit. We would absolutely stay again.

It's a cozy little cabin right along Lac Court Oreilles. The place was clean. The area is quiet. Beds were comfortable. The space was plenty for my family of three (2 adults and 1 teenager). The lake is very clear with a shallow sand bottom here but if you want to wade in, I'd suggest water shoes as there are a lot of freshwater clam shells that can cut your feet. We also couldn't locate any towels in the place so had to acquire our own during our stay. Overall, would recommend.

This was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. Nicky was great with communication and responsive. Love the classic charm of the cabin and wood fireplace. Close to Hayward and the Birkie trails. Already rebooked our 3rd stay here for next yr.

Anniversary Getaway

The cabin and the neighborhood were wonderful. The sunrise on the lake was gorgeous. Everything was clean inside and communication with Nicky was perfect. The only complaint we have is that the nextdoor neighbor shot his shotgun every time geese would fly over the lake. It almost gave my wife a heart attack many times and scared the crap out of my dog. It happened quite a bit.

Hayward Getaway

The cabin was one of the best we have stayed at. The location on the lake was great with beautiful sunrises. The cabin was extremely clean, decorated very nicely with all the amenities of home. The dock was very easy to tie up your boat and close to good fishing. The host was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions you may have. Overall a 5+ for us.

Great Get Away

This was our second time staying at this lovely cabin and enjoyed it as much as we did the first time around. We had perfect weather so everyday we paddle boarded and swam. The spectacular blue moon was viewed from the dock which made the everthing look magical. Thank you Nicky for a fantastic stay and hope to come back next year.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

We had the best time in Northern Wisconsin! The cabin was perfect for our needs. Nikki was great and responded quickly to any questions we had. We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and bird watching from the deck. The loons were incredible!! We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely winter stay

Very nice atmopshere making the cabin very cozy for our winter stay. Loved the fireplace. Spacious with lots of seating areas. Remember to bring your towels. Dishwasher is very slow so start it night before leaving. Hand soap is hard to wash off so might want to bring your preferred hand soap. Liked it so much already booked for next year's trip.

Short cabin weekend trip

Very responsive host. Wonderful kitchen and great view of the lake. About 15 mins drive to town. Would have loved a checkout later than 9 am as hard to get everything ready and out the door with a 2 year old. Also check in and out instructions are not as clear as other rental properties. Would also love to not pack all towels with us on our trip. Overall we would stay again

Cabin perfection!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! The inside marries modern comfort and amenities with classic quaint cabin charm. It was cozy, clean and adorable! The property had a great fire pit, excellent dock space and many great spots to sit and enjoy the lake. The owner communicated quickly when I had a question and was kind and very easy to work with. We had a wonderful week!

Lakeside home with great views (getaway for 4)

Owner was responsive. We had a great time and enjoyed the wildlife, fishing from the dock for panfish, grilling out and time spent in the crystal clear lake. Home is beautifully decorated with a wonderful stove/oven and comfortable beds and bathrooms.

Best VRBO to date. Clean and beautiful cabin. Recently renovated. Nice appliances. Neighbors love the renter and nice people in the area. I highly recommend this cabin.
