During our stay at Joe and McKenzie's estate with 19 family members, we found the space to be plentiful and the accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and equipped with top-notch amenities.

Executive Retreat

We booked the property for my boss and a group of executives for a retreat. They had an excellent time and thoroughly enjoyed the property. We'd be happy to recommend the home to all.

This is an amazing property! We had a family reunion and this provided the space needed to accommodate everyone. It is beautifully furnished and well stocked. Sitting outside at night by the campfire watching fire flies and the stars was our favorite!

Unique property

Beautiful and unique space for large groups of friends or families. Loved the minimal and modern decor and the size/arrangement of the great rooms to be together. Shared bathrooms, away from the bedrooms, require a certain level of comfort with your travel partners. Thinner walls in the sleeping pod required group participation to make that the quiet side of the house. The kitchen was beyond well stocked and great prep/space for all of our food and drinks. The fire pit at night was a great place to see stars and listen to the loud bullfrogs in the pond. :) we are already thinking of another trip we can do here!

Love this place.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kindling Meadows, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were here for a women’s retreat with our church and needed a place to accommodate over 20 women. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, providing clear instructions for check-in and answering any questions we had promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. There was a moment where we needed help with the grill and got an immediate response with some help. The place was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The atmosphere was cozy, and inviting, with aesthetically, pleasing decor that made the place feel like a peaceful retreat. We all had an amazing stay, and would highly recommend anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle free experience.

family summer fun

Enormous house. Very clean and nicely maintained. Our family of 16 had more than enough space to be together for smore-making outside or inside playing ping-pong. The smaller children had their own playroom stocked with toys, books and games. There is a camp-like vibe for the bathrooms. No ensuite baths. There are two private bathrooms, 2 bathrooms with two shower stalls, a toilet and double sinks in both. There is also a separate men's and ladies' 1/2 bath at the entrance. Everyone adjusted without problem. Although the large common rooms can be noisy with a large group like ours, there are plenty of individual, cozy areas to sit and read or talk. Joe was quite good at responding to my texts and making us feel welcome. All-in-all, our family had a wonderful time. The outdoor space was perfect. The grandkids loved the water and the little ones had their own water feature to wade and play in with the provided toys. Did I mention the hot tub? The family would love to return. Wonderful place to create family memories. Great location to Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville.

We had a family reunion in June 2026 at the Meadows. We had not been there before and didn't know what to expect. We have stayed at many places, but this stay was excellent. Everything was in good repair and every need was met. We had to contact the owner and had no trouble getting him. We were at full compacity for the house but there was plenty of room. The outside venue was definitely a ten. This is the first time we had a table big enough for our entire family to sit down together for a meal. The bathrooms were a little different than we were used to, but we made it work. The consensus of the family was "Can we come here again?"
