Welcome to Cottage On The Rocks, a place designed to feel a little like visiting Grandma’s house: comfortable, welcoming, spacious, and filled with the little touches that make you feel right at home.
Room for the whole family to gather. With 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and 2 spacious family rooms, there’s plenty of room to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together, just like at Grandma’s.
Soak, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Unwind in our brand-new private hot tub after a day of exploring North Idaho, or gather on one of our two large patios for outdoor dining and relaxing. Enjoy the BBQ, settle into the Adirondack chairs, or sit back on the front porch swing and take in the beautiful North Idaho sunsets.
A convenient location for North Idaho adventures. You’ll be just minutes from wooded parks, beaches, shopping, and the famous 23-mile North Idaho Centennial Trail, perfect for walking, biking, and exploring.

The dining room features a large table with seating for 10, making it the perfect spot for family meals, games, puzzles, and the kind of gatherings that feel right at Grandma’s house.
And when it’s time to relax, step outside and enjoy the brand-new private hot tub. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking, biking, shopping, or exploring North Idaho, or simply enjoy a relaxing evening together without leaving the comfort of the house.

Val was very responsive to all of my messages. We woke up every morning and had coffee on the front porch with the most beautiful view. Highly recommend staying here.

Great house
Great stay for two families vacationing together. Had everything we needed - well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens for 11 people, great yard, awesome location and very helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were so friendly, and the house was super clean. There was plenty of space for our large group, and the yard was great to hang out in with evening shade in the back and a porch swing in the front. It did get a bit warm inside without central air, but the hosts left some tips to help cool it down.

I am from Corona, CA and my husband, Dan, is from Lava Hot Springs, ID. We have 3 grown children and 10 grandchildren. We love the summers in North Idaho; walking, hiking, swimming, and cycling. This home is where we raised our family. It's comfortable, spacious, and full of wonderful memories. We love meeting new people and want to share our family home with others.

In 1998, after moving to Post Falls from North Carolina, we found this little yellow house perched above a landscape of beautiful boulders. It didn't take long before it became the place we called home. We love that the Spokane River is just down the street and the North Idaho Centennial Trail runs passed our home, great for walking or cycling.
