Very nice house with lots of bed space. Large enough table/kitchen to easily hold 5-6 people at least. Nice yard space for outdoor activities and good wifi for the area. Hiking and trails nearby with a nice pizza place in Elizabeth town not 5 minutes away

Stayed here twice now! Room was super clean, cozy, and just an overall relaxing place to stay. Especially after hiking the national forest which was super close to the property. Stars were beautiful there as well. Great place to stay, well taken care of. Definitely will be back!

The house was in a nice area close to parks for outdoor hikes. It was very clean and had pretty much everything you needed for cooking.

Relaxing get away

The home was perfect for the four of us (two couples) The home was as described and well stocked with towels, beddings, dishes and kitchen supplies. The deck and patio were perfect to relax on after a day of hiking in the Shawnee National Forest. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Thank you so much for our stay. We loved the scenery and was nestled perfectly on top of hill where we could watch wildlife and enjoy watching cars go by. There were some issues with wood bees on the front porch but understand they don't sting they just made it a little annoying. They are hard to get rid of and seen you had traps for them and was trying. We loved being close to downtown but still enyoying peace and quite. Will stay here again!

Family hike

We had wonderful hikes in Shawne National Forest. Our stay was comfortable, the house is well equipped and the owners are easy to communicate with. There was a power outage and they took care of it quickly. Do not try the jacuzzi because there is not enough hot water to fill it.

Spring Break

Nice, quiet and clean. That’s number one.Very close to parks: Cave In Rock 10-11 minutes; Giant City 11-12 minutes; Garden of the Gods 20-22 minutes.Venture in with supplies although place is also close to Dollar General about 10-11 minutes and Walmart about 30-40 minutes. It’s the country side, I don’t mind driving. Kids enjoyed our stay. Roamed around the property. Property owner is also easy to communicate with, very accommodating. We will be back for sure.

Not worth the money

The rental was not clean at all. Some of the listed items did not work properly either. Check in was easy and the property stands alone by itself which was nice. But overall, would have stayed somewhere else after seeing the inside of the property.

Hello Katy, during your stay you did not make us aware of any listed items that were not working. Upon inspection before and after your stay, all listed amenities were in working condition. Please advise what wasn’t working. Additionally the property was cleaned prior to your stay - if you have any photo proof of uncleanliness we’d love to see it so it can be addressed with the cleaning staff. Otherwise all claims are invalid. Thank you.
