Great location and excellent communication. Perfect spot for the dogs to run in a large fenced area. Beautiful quiet neighborhood for morning and evening walks.

What a great house!! Beautiful, clean and wonderful Mountain View’s! Outdoor access and furniture so comfortable, truly hard to leave. Our family had such a good time! Our dog loved it too! The fenced yard was so fun for her. Everything you need right there! We appreciated the great communication with the owner and the small - big things- like coffee and dog treats!

My family loved this house and will definitely stay again! The cabin was very clean, cozy and welcoming. My 2 dogs loved the huge fenced in back yard with lots of things to explore and Aimee was a great host.

The house was perfect for our needs! The fenced yard made all the difference with the dogs. The location is fantastic, easy to get to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain from the house. The house was clean, the hot tub relaxing and communication was effortless. We would definitely book another stay here!!

We had our two pups and there was plenty of room to run around. A great area for a nice evening walk. The most peaceful place in the world. The cabin was very nice and so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Comfy Cabin

This property was very clean and comfortable for our party of 4 adults and 2 dogs. Enjoyed the hot tub, ping pong, and fenced yard. About a 15 min drive in any direction will take you to beautiful hiking or town.

Our family loved our stay. The cabin is very cozy. The location is perfect for easy travel to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed the campfire and ping pong table. Check-in was super easy, the instructions were clear and convenient. The WiFi was very good. We grilled one night, made good use of the hot tub as well. Overall, it was a great trip for our family and we enjoyed the comfort of this cabin.

What a great cabin. We loved everything about it! The fenced in yard was such a treat for our four legged family member. She loved the large area to run and play. The house was close to everything but secluded enough for us to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We sat by the massive fire pit every night and shared fun stories. Memories made to last a lifetime! Would definitely stay again and recommend highly.

Loved it!

We went up to visit our daughter who goes to App State and had her and her friends over to eat, get in the hot tub, play Ping Pong and watch March Madness Basketball. The house was perfect for 3 generations with plenty of space for everyone. Very cozy and charming!

Weekend Getaway

The property is absolutely stunning and spacious. Our dog loved playing in the yard and having the entire property fenced in gave us a such a peace of mind that allowed us to relax while she explored. The property manager was accommodating and extremely responsive to communication. It was extremely clean as well as cozy. Would absolutely recommend to any and all future guests!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2024

Our stay at Good Dog Dreams was exceptional. The home was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We appreciated the small touches like soap, paper towels, plastic wrap and foil that we didn’t need to bring from home. We arrived on Friday night and were welcomed by neighbors at an outdoor happy hour. The house was an easy drive to Boone and Blowing Rock where we enjoyed hiking and came home to a wonderful fire pit, hot tub, and some competitive ping pong. We would definitely return.

Wonderful stay. Fenced in yard was MUCH bigger than I expected, definitely would take the dog next time. Awesome cabin, rustic feel but not overwhelming like some places I’ve seen. Great location to get to the Parkway, Blowing Rock, or Boone in 20 min or less. Great host communication as well. Definitely heed the warnings about vehicle being capable in winter months, I can easily see how the roads leading up to/the driveway itself would be difficult to go up or down if snow or ice was involved. Lastly, it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out where the overhead kitchen light switch was. Note:it’s on the outside wall of the staircase for going downstairs.

Perfect

We were needing a weekend away with our 11 year old Golden Retriever and "Dog Friendly" jumped out as we looked at properties and came across this one. Not only is it dog friendly, it was a prefect getaway. Needless to say, with a dog, we walked a lot in this neighborhood and met very friendly neighbors. The cabin is secluded and very well done. Very comfortable! I was equally happy with its centralized location to Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk which made restaurants easy to choose from. The owner, Aimee, was prompt and friendly with check-in and check-out, with the option of letting her know if we needed anything. (which we did not) Will consider this cabin again! Thank You!!

I would describe the house as a rustic dog house every thing in the house had to do with dogs. The driveway was very steep and there was no room for a full size sedan to turn around at the front door. There was no soap bars. Otherwise the house was clean and everything worked

This house is excellent if you have pets!! The outside fenced in area is like a dog park!! So much space to run and roam. Easy access to the deck for the dogs. The inside is very nice and cozy. We had perfect space. A bathroom for every room is wonderful. The hot tub was awesome as well as the game room!! This is definitely a place I would consider staying at again. Aimee was great!! She made herself available if we needed anything! Thank you for a great weekend for our family and our dogs!!
