Once Upon A Tide is one of the houses that still sits in the sand, Beach Front on the Pedestrian Beach. There is nothing but sand & the waters edge. The location is ideal as it sits on a quiet area of the beach that does NOT allow cars and is within blocks of convenience stores, restaurants, sightseeing and shopping. The house is a four bedroom / 3 bath house that has all the modern amenities and supplies condiments, personal soaps and hair care and cleaning products. The property has a large kitchen that looks out over the water along with the Dining Room Area and Living Room. Pet Policy: If you love dogs like us, you are more than welcome to bring up to 2. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if planning on bringing your furry friend to Surfside! Pets are welcome at this home. 2 pets max. w/ a non-refundable pet fee. (ask if additional pets are allowed).

Fantastic stay. Literally everything was there, like you're just sharing a home. Towels, beach toys, even sunscreen in a pinch. Everything was easy and the agency and owner were responsive.

House had not been cleaned, dirty sheets, full of furniture from outside, covered in sand, stairs covered in bird poop. We’re not able to check in until exactly 4 PM as we were told that cleaning service was there. Closets full of clothes, kitchen full of food, refrigerator door full of food. Nowhere to put our things. House did not smell good, dogs smell. Using the vacuum, made it worse.

Great time at Surfside Beach

Beautiful house with all the amenities we needed. We had 4 adults and 3 children under 10. Lots of toys for the beach. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Close to stores so quick and easy to get groceries. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved that it was right on the beach. We didn't have to cross any roads or cross any dunes.

Bring BBQ pit. Only has small one. Dog friendly but pets have to stay in crate while inside so not technically dog friendly . Must bring crate for pets . Two tvs none in rooms. No sheets on some of the beds. Walk to beach wasn’t bad. We rented a golf cart. Group of 14. Small kids and adults. I would suggest bring games for night time . Ask for WiFi day or arrival. No paper/book with info in it for it. Other that that it was nice
