Recently remodeled cottage with plenty of room to relax and unwind, perfectly situated between scenic walking trails and the charm of downtown Highlands. This very spacious home features 2 living rooms, 2 en-suite master bedrooms with king-size beds, a large kitchen with gas stove, and inviting outdoor spaces including a deck with grill and a cozy fire pit area.

You’ll feel wonderfully secluded while still being just two blocks away, along easy sidewalks, from all the dining, shopping, and attractions that Highlands has to offer. Incredible hikes and waterfalls are also close by in this one-of-a-kind mountain town, often called the Aspen of the East. You are going to feel so torn between exploring the trails, dining in Highlands, or spending time in this incredible home.

House was fantastic! Walkable to downtown Highliands NC! House was well decorated, cozy, comfortable beds! Downside ….. TV was difficult to navigate… no local channels….. NBC,CBS,ABC, not a big deal but couldn’t watch football. Fireplace did not work , would have been nice for the cold Fall evenings. Concierge did a good pre text for check in and welcome but no response to any questions while at property.

Beautiful home and walking distance to town and hikes. We loved how quiet it was and enjoyed seeing the deer in the front driveway. Would absolutely book this property again. The host was very responsive when we had difficulty with the code.

The location of the house is excellent, you can walk to town, grocery store and trails near by. The house is comfortable and the management team very responsive.

Very conflicted about reviewing this stay. The location and general layout of the house were fantastic. While the property managers promptly responded to any texts or calls, we had a few issues. The most major one was a large infestation of carpenter ants. While an exterminator did come and it was better for a while, they came back and were everywhere. Additionally, one of the two showers wasn't usable (no hot water in it). Again, the property managers did send someone over but he was unable to fix it. Much less important were some of the basics this rental had. No pot holders to remove hot dishes, no measuring cups, no cleaners or vacuum and other small things that were missing. These weren't a big deal in that we were able to purchase them (except the vacuum) on our own.Again, property owners were courteous and eventually offered a small amount for the inconvenience but I do want to give an honest review.

Perfect Location!

Such a cute house, great location! Easy parking and plenty of it! Loved the decor and small details! Only thing to note is no toiletries are available so be sure to bring soap etc. but no big deal!

Everything we hoped for

This property is beautiful and very conveniently located! The layout of the house was perfect for two couples as each had their own space that was separated for privacy. Communication was efficient and clear. We are so appreciative of their willingness to accommodate a last minute adjustment in our dates due to the need to get back home before severe weather arrived. Can’t say enough good things about this property and Gabi and her team!

Updated home in a fabulous location!

The home is updated and modern with a great layout for two couples. Location in walking distance to Main Street was perfect. Really enjoyed our stay!
