Perfect cozy clean cabin with every amenity you could want. Beautiful landscaping too. Walk to town along quiet lakeside roads and paths.

We were welcomed by a charming cottage and a thoughtful welcome card from the owners. All was clean and cozy. We had a relaxing, comfortable vacation.

The property is as advertised. Quaint, peaceful and located in a convenient location to get to Northport, Suttons Bay and TC. The host, Taylor, was very kind, responsive and understanding. He left us a thoughtful card and arrival present. He let us use his iron and ironing board after bringing it by himself and was understanding when we accidentally caused minor damage to something on the property and reported it to him. Very nice place and host.

Perfect! Host and property were great! Clean, quiet, cozy, and host was friendly and accommodating! High recommend. Would definitely stay again!

Love Shack! This was such a peaceful stay. Taylor was wonderful and provided such a wonderful list of local attractions. We have 8 children, and this was the first time we have been away in 11 years. The off-season gave us privacy, and the home was fully equipped with everything needed for a quiet stay. It was such a blessing. Definitely recommend!!!!

Taylor thought of everything. When we walked in there was a local made chocolate bar and a nice note. Such a cute and cozy cabin, decorated with thoughtfulness. We went to eat at Fingers crossed, very good and nice people in the area.Also love how these hosts left everything we needed... Paper towels, cleaning supplies, garbage bags etc. This is so appreciated. Beautiful place and location.

Beautiful Cottage, and great host

It was a wonderful property, surrounded by like cottages, otherwise secluded. It was a great place for us newlyweds. We highly recommend to anyone hoping to enjoy the Northport and Traverse City area, with a quiet intimate place to stay. The Host was very accommodating and understanding even when I was mistaken about my check out time, and would recommend him highly.

short vacation

The cottage was perfect for my young adult daughter and I to have an end of summer getaway in one of our favorite places. Taylor responded quickly to a message the first night we were there. The front porch was a lovely place to eat our meals, read, and enjoy a fire. The landscaping adds to the beauty.

Wonderful escape

This is a lovely small cabin in an ideal location, close to the Lake and to town. The cabin is perfect and super clean, tasteful, and all amenities are available (in the kitchen, the bathroom...) - everything you might need on a short getaway is there, and there are some very thoughtful details. The hosts are friendly and professional. We had a wonderful time. The fire pit is amazing. Thank you!

Wonderful! Taylor was a kind and thoughtful host. The cottage is perfectly located, cozy, and quiet. The walk to Northport on South Shore is beautiful with views of the lake and wildflowers all along. (We also saw deer, bunnies, and frogs on the two track path.) The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and the deck in front was beautifully landscaped and an excellent place to wind down after a day at the beach. Christmas Cove beach was a short 10min drive as was Green Bird, our favorite winery. Walking to Northport from the cottage for pizza, playground, ice cream, grocery, was a breeze! Thank you, Taylor!

This was a great little cottage (tiny home) just a few minutes away from restaurants and shops downtown and only 10ish minutes from Christmas Cove beach. It's around 20 minutes from Sutton's Bay in one direction and Leland in another, and it's very close to Leelanau State Park as well. We stayed as a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 kid) and had enough room for our needs. The cottage was clean, the fold-out sofa was comfortable for our kid, checkin and checkout was easy, the laundry room (washer/dryer combo) was very helpful for post-beach cleanup, and a small A/C unit was a nice bonus (although it struggled to help much in the big heatwave the area experienced while we were there). The only recommendation I have is for more towels in the bathroom and possibly 1 additional chair for the kitchen table to accommodate a 3rd person. Regardless of those details, I highly recommend this cottage for anyone staying in the Northport area.

Great cottage close to town . Very cute decor and front deck and fire pit. Perfect for a getaway! Town is close and beauty all around . The Host was great ! Took advantage of hosts recommendations for food and drink a plus as well! You won’t be disappointed.
