Quiet, Private, Waterfront - Luxury on 125 Ft. of Suttons Bay
White Fence of Suttons Bay is a truly unique vacation property. The property is a compilation of restored circa 1900 farm buildings just one block south of one of the most quaint villages in the Upper Midwest. The Village of Suttons Bay has deluxe shopping, art galleries and excellent restaurants abound. White Fence of Suttons Bay is within walking distance of it all and centrally located for touring all of scenic Leelanau County and its multitude of wineries, fine restaurants, charming villages and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park.
White Fence is a small and quiet property which has been meticulously renovated. The guest suite is artfully done with privacy, quiet and magnificent views of the bay kept in mind. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with seating areas throughout including private decks on the beach. Night star gazing is memorable. Although we love pets and children, the carriage house suites is not designed for either.
Directly across the street from White Fence is a gourmet grocery store which specializes in local produce and houses an extensive wine selection where the sommelier can describe to you the award-winning local wines. There is an outdoor kitchen area at White Fence with a charcoal grill should you decide to cook and hot plate for sautéing and boiling.
Also directly across the street, is the Leelanau Trail, an extensive biking, walking and running trail. It offers miles of scenic enjoyment. In the winter months, the Trail is groomed for cross country skiing.
White Fence was originally opened for business on July 4th, 2010. The new owners are permanent residents of Suttons Bay and our aim is to maintain the beauty and tranquility that has been pleasing guests since the beginning.
For Summer Rentals the Carriage House is only being rented as part of the whole White Fence of Suttons Bay Property. Please see our listing # 1172449 for our summer rental information. This exquisite property is the perfect location for families or couples.

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway! We love the beach access, that it's walkable to downtown Sutton's Bay and a short driving distance to many other northern Michigan towns we love. We'll definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay and wonderful unit! We enjoyed the views out over the water, the beach (although it was cold when we stayed) and the fantastic location within walking distance of Hop Lot Brewery, the grocery store, and downtown.

Beautiful carriage house with a gorgeous view of the bay. Host responds quickly. Unique artwork on all walls. Perfect hideaway for a couple.

Great location, clean + comfortable
Great location for a couple to stay... cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a quick getaway. My husband and I have stayed here multiple times.

Great place to stay!
We liked how close this location was to our own private beach, bike trail, shopping and restaurants. We kayaked and biked everyday and took short trips to wineries. We had a great time!

Beautiful cottage
It was a joy to stay in this charming cottage. It was perfect for a quick weekend trip for my husband and I. It was close to everything in Suttons Bay, which made walking perfect.

Great stay!
We had a fantastic time at the carriage house! The location is wonderful -- it's walkable to downtown Suttons Bay, and there's a beautiful view of the water. The house was very clean and cozy. We'd definitely stay again!

Cozy cottage
Very happy with our stay. The cottage was well stocked and very clean. The view is gorgeous and having a little private beach with a fire pit is so cozy! Definitely will be coming back!
