House was nice and clean and as described. It was in a good location to get to the various attractions in the Poconos. There was privacy even with houses on both sides.

Wonderful property with great amenities and location. One of our favorite stays. Sitting on the deck listening to a stream and fall nature was restoring. The house was well represented and great communication. We we arrived the door code didn't work, but was rectified in about 10 minutes. The property is well stocked and thought out. Very clean throughout. Rare to find clean properties that accept dogs, we are very grateful to be able to brings ours. To note, there is only a dryer. There is no washer. It is mentioned in the listing, but we missed that information. This is bring some challenges for our packing strategy. We would love to have an extended stay at the property, but needs a washer with all the other amenities to complete the package.

The home was very comfortable and cozy. It was clean and air conditioner worked well. The hot tub was wonderful. The games were fun even for the adults. The host was very attentive making check in very easy. There were deer in the yard and lake every day.

It was a wonderful family vacation!! As we usually do short-term rentals when traveling with young children, I can confidently say this was the cleanest place we have stayed so far.The communication with the owner was also excellent—very prompt and smooth throughout our stay. This place was the perfect getaway spot! All of the bedrooms are very comfortable and spacious (very comfortable mattresses!) The backyard is beautiful with the sound of the creek and view of the lake, perfect for having coffee by in the mornings. The kitchen is large with modern appliances which made cooking effortless. The property also has both a front and back deck along with lots of natural light all very well maintained. We also loved the game room in the finished basement, fun for both kids and adults! Bathrooms were also clean and up to date with great water temps and water pressure. The check-in and check-out process were seamless and easy. Very reasonable requests for cleanup and checkout and hosts were extremely communicative and responsive. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a lakeside getaway!

Great family stay! Relaxing creek side firepit area with access to the fishing lake. Host was very responsive with all questions asked. Would highly recommended staying here!

The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen could have used more essentials. It was hard to cook for a group with what was provided. Also the fridge isn’t full sized. The community doesn’t communicate.. the big lake was closed and we didn’t know. The next day there was a food truck event also no communication. We went by the clubhouse and it was closed but no board telling about activities. Over all a good stay. While here it takes about 20 minutes to get anywhere.

The host was always present and checking that everything was ok, the house is nice and well equipped. My only suggestion is to improve the isolation, the main room which is the nicest is the coolest too.

We had an exceptional stay at this house! We loved all the amenities—the hot tub was our favorite though. It was so peaceful in the morning to see the lake and the creek and the yard deer were so cute! We enjoyed Jim Thorpe 2 different day’s because it was so close and we explored hickory run state park, which was only 15-20 minutes away. They had everything we needed to cook dinner both nights. It was very easy to check in and the check out was super fast as well. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Both us and the dog loved our first (but certainly not last) trip to the Poconos.
What we lovingly called our yard deer bc they came so close multiple times a day!

The condition of the interior of this home was okay but the exterior needed attention. The dirty,moldy rugs by the hot tub should be removed and not replaced as that area isn't suitable for rugs.The deck furniture is past its prime and hadn’t been rinsed of bird poop.While the listing states ‘laundry’ as an amenity,there was only a dryer,no washer.We brought our drip coffee maker as there was only a Keurig type in the house, which is annoying for a group of people. It’s much easier to make a pot of coffee.A separate recycling container for the house would be appreciated,although maybe the community doesn’t recycle.Coasters for drinks would be helpful. The process for getting wrist bands to use the pool etc is really inconvenient as the guest has to go pick them up instead of them being in the rental upon check in. We never did use the pools as they weren’t very appealing.The gate house system is annoying for guests and we were surprised that it’s even a gated community as it’s pretty old and tired.

Quick Poconos getaway

The property is located on lake with a creek/stream running through the property making for peaceful/scenic experience. The kids enjoyed fishing at the lake and the game room. We all enjoyed the clear night skies and bonus meteor shower that was visible from the deck. The only minor issue was the house being located in a gated community where members/check in personnel were not quite friendly/welcoming of STR guests. Otherwise we enjoyed a lot of quality family time and much needed rest and relaxation at the property.

Beautiful house, and lovely location. Just far enough away, but not too far! There is wildlife everywhere. We watched a bear in the neighbors driveway rummaging through their trash. The fishing in the lakes was not good however. We had a fishing guide called Fish Fever Guide take us out on Beltzville lake and caught too many fish to count. If you’re looking to fish, I highly recommend looking that guy up, absolutely amazing experience! The kids really enjoyed the game room downstairs, there is not a shortage of activities to do while here. The house is nicely stocked with everything you’ll need too.

The place was perfect since we had kids. The beach and the swimming pool let us enjoy our days. The deer were not afraid of you and walked around all day, The only delay just to get to the house was the front gate did not have our information. I confirmed we were at the right gate. Luckily I had all communications on my phone through text messages for our vehicles and after a half hour they took that so we no longer needed to wait for them to hear back from someone. I would just prepare yourself for that delay.
