We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the host’s hospitality—it was a cozy, family-friendly place that made for a great trip, and we’d happily stay again. We appreciate Annette’s quick communication with requests/questions!

We booked the cottage for 2 nights. We were worried for a bit with the smoke the wild fires were producing in Canada that we wouldn't been able to enjoy the outdoors. We arrived on a Sunday and thankfully it wasn't as bad as we had seen on the news. We arrived to go to the Beach and then relax for the evening and the next day we went to Mackinac Island and as always it was breath taking. The views! The whole family enjoyed it.The house itself was a very comfortable and modern. The beds were so comfy! I want that same bed for our home! Miss Annette, our host, was was super helpful and so sweet! She responded swiftly and was very helpful when letting us know how conditions were. If this cottage is available again when we visit Michigan we definitely will book at Ms. Annette!

Great home - everything was perfect

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was accurate on listing. Home was very cute and nicely updated. Would stay again for sure.

Charming cabin

This was a darling place to stay. It was a nice, open cabin with 3 rooms and lots of space. It had everything we could need.

A delightful retreat over the 4th of July

We had a delightful stay at this very nice cottage in the heart of Vanderbilt. We were using it as “overflow housing” for our cottage on nearby Thumb Lake (Lake Louise) and it was just what we needed. There were four of us and the bedroom spaces were perfect with three bedrooms, two having queen beds and one having a twin. The mattresses were very comfortable and the closet space in each room was quite adequate. The bathroom, although small, was well equipped and the shower was wonderful. We were there over the week of the 4th of July, and it was quite warm most of the week. Therefore, we appreciated the new, easy to open and close windows throughout the house. Also, having fans in each bedroom and the living room for ventilation was great. We especially loved working in what felt like a brand-new kitchen. We used it to prepare a day’s worth of meals for a group of nineteen people and found plenty of space to prepare, cook and store the food prior to transporting it to the lake the following day. We also enjoyed relaxing in the living room on the two, very comfortable couches and we loved our evenings watching movies on the huge television. Finally, there was space to park three cars in the driveway, and we found the neighbors very friendly. All in all, it was a very delightful stay. Hope we have occasion to stay there again in the future.

It was a very nice home. The living room furniture was so uncomfortable though. It was horrible. The bed in the pull out had a huge hole in it. Otherwise, it was great
