Welcome to Little Bear's Cozy Cabin with modern amenities near all things Gaylord has to offer. Located close to premier golfing and only 2 miles from Otsego Lake. With a fully stocked kitchen, come to enjoy the peace and quiet you are looking for. If cooking isn't your thing, we are close to some of the greatest restaurants and bars! We are a dog friendly cabin with outside kennels and wire kennels inside. With two bedrooms, featuring one with a KING and the other with a queen bed plus a sleeper sofa and futon, the cabin can comfortably sleep 8! Come enjoy the beauty northern Michigan has to offer! We do have trailer parking and close access to snow mobile trails!

Very quaint cottage in a great location not far from restaurants, lakes and golf. The place is clean and the host was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place if you need to stay near Gaylord.

We all had an amazing time. The golf courses in the area were immaculate and the cabin easily had space for cards and games. I’ve never been to a place that had so many amenities. Thank you so much!!!

We stayed with our fur baby and had a wonderful, restful stay. Great WiFi, quiet neighborhood and great hosts (who were very responsive and welcoming) who could ask for more!

Our host Stacy was super nice and helpful. She answered right away and helped us when we locked ourself out of the cabin. The cabin really was cute and cozy. And everything was nicely labeled and organized. We had a great trip.

What a beautiful cabin! Soooo Pet friendly for our two pups. We came up for a family wedding and to decompress, I wish we could stay longer! The location was far enough out of town to relax and right up the road from family. We grew up in Gaylord and this cabin represents the beautiful hospitality we remember of the olden days. We had a small snafu with the auto lock door but the owners were quick to help us resolve the situation and super awesome with communication! Try to arrive before dark, there is a porch light but it gets DARK on this road at night and GPS kept trying to send us further up the road. I really hope to get backup sometime soon and stay way longer! Thank you so much!

My first time visiting Gaylord. The cabin and host were great! Will definitely stay again. If you have visited the Gaylord area, it’s a must do and the people are so nice.

We were a party of 4 plus our dog Georgia Blue, and the cabin had plenty of space. It is indeed pet friendly: The back yard is not fenced in, but there was a good length lead provided, as well as kennels, crates, a scooper, and travel pet bags (which is very thoughtful with all the hiking places around Gaylord), and lots of hooks for drying clothes in the snow season. As for human amenities, the smaller bed was a great size but not as comfy as the couch for me, but I tend to struggle to sleep away from home so take that with a grain of salt. Other than that it was great! They offer all you need to cook meals, everything was clean, and there was an extra folding table if needed. Stacey was a gracious hostess, and responded to all my questions with grace. It felt like we had been invited to a friend's home who remembered they invited you . All in all a lovely stay and we hope to come again.P.S. There is a small step in the cabin itself, dividing the kitchen/living room from the entry with a little brunch nook. I loved it in the morning when I had my coffee, it felt like I was in my own little world,

Cozy and clean

It was a great place to stay close to many hiking places and we brought our dog with us and they had lots of pet friendly amenities.

This cabin is absolutely adorable! Cute, cozy, clean, and comfortable! We hit Ostego Resort for ski/snowboarding weekend and it’s only a 10 minute drive which made things so convenient. The beds are to die for - so incredibly comfortable. If you are looking for a little gem, this spot is for you. Hosts were quick to respond with questions and awesome. Loved the Dunkin’ coffee, condiments in fridge for ease, and simple things like foil, etc. The simple things make traveling a breeze. Look no further 10/10!!!

Cozy & Comfortable

This cabin is a great family place. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a charcoal grill out back. The cabin is air conditioned, which is a huge plus in the Michigan humid conditions. We enjoyed our stay

Frozen River.

We had a very fun weekend stay. We took a river raft cruise on the Sturgeon River. The cabin was in a perfect spot, close to great eats but secluded enough to give you the up north in the woods feel. It was very cozy offered the experience we were looking for.

Everything you’d need in a cabin

Very cute little cabin with everything you’d be looking for in a rental. Quite nice amenities and cute patio space out back, it was also in a quiet area which I felt safe walking around so that’s a plus!

Winter stay

Everything we needed

Had a nice stay and found everything we needed. Switches and cabinets were labeled which was helpful. Bed and furniture was comfortable. We would stay again.
