The property and views from the deck were outstanding. We had a terrific stay. The highlight of the trip was seeing two bears sleeping in the tree right next to the property and watching them climb down after they woke up.

We loved the views, the open floorplan, and the fact that this is a genuine log cabin that miraculously survived the Great Fire. We have visited Gatlinburg for over 40 years, and while it is great to see new construction, for us it is even better to find pristine gems like this cabin that remind us of what once was.

Cabin was just what we were looking to find for our family vacation. The view is amazing and the cabin was quiet at night (construction on another cabin next door during the day). We enjoyed watching the chipmunks and even saw a few bears on the road up. Host was friendly and took care of our minor concerns in a timely manor. Definitely would stay again!
