Very nice

Very nice 3 BD, 1 1/2 bath in quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the Housatonic River and West Cornwall Covered Bridge.

Best Friend Weekend

The property was beautiful. It did look as if it had not fully been picked up before us, the yard furniture was on the hill of the yard and there was a glass on the table outside from the people before. Not a big deal but seemed maybe not enough time between guests. I am a decent size dude; I am 6’4 280. The downstairs furniture is not big people-friendly, so if you want to sit comfortably downstairs, it's not happening. However, the upstairs sectional is very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable. Overall, a good experience; the home's devote was gorgeous.

I loved this house! It felt like home. It is so beautifully done, comfortable, and full of cool, eclectic character: exposed brick, wooden beams, and thoughtful, tasteful decor. The furniture is lovely and everything is spotlessly clean.The little things that are often lacking in rentals were here in abundance: extra blankets, dish towels, household essentials like laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, shampoo, body wash, etc...all those little touches, thoughtfully presented.The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your heart out and very functional, with a stocked pantry. There is every pot, pan, bakeware item and utensil you could need. The kitchen is open to the living space, which has a record player, records, and games, and the spacious dining area is a great place for gathering.The beds in the 3 bedrooms upstairs are comfortable and the linens are beautiful and crisp. Everything smelled so clean. I felt fancy. The upstairs living area has a great TV and a big comfy couch you can really sink into. Along the back wall is a proper workspace set against a row of windows, with plenty of outlets and a printer. The bathroom has an amazing tub where you can have a luxurious soak, and the shower was great too. A big plus is the modern washer and dryer.Outside, there's a well-landscaped yard with a brick oven and seating areas, perfect for hanging out with a drink. It's a great neighborhood if you have a dog too! Thank you for a lovely stay!

We did not stay here, due to the shower that was way too deep for me or family, including my grandkids, to climb down into or to get out of when soaking wet. We left before unpacking, lt was less than 2 hours when we left to find a hotel. A big inconvenience to my whole family, as we came for my daughter's wedding.

I am sorry our home did not meet your needs. The sunken tub is described in our listing and photos are included here. We always let guests know that it is not recommended by those with limited mobility before booking. Most guests have enjoyed the sunken feature and the ability to soak or run a bath (including a wedding party who previously stayed with us). Unfortunately, this group's last-minute cancellation after checking in was inconvenient because we were unable to make the property available to other guests.
