Cozy Beach Retreat 703

Welcome to Somerset 703 located directly on the beautiful Marco Island crescent beach. This recently remodeled condo offers all of the best amenities for you and your family to enjoy on your Marco Island getaway. Enjoy nigtlhy sunsets from your balcony looking over the warm Gulf of America, with due west exposure. The Somerset complex has 2 heated swimming pools, 2 private beach access points, tennis and pickleball courts as well as out door grilling. The unit locker offers a beach umbrella, beach chairs and a cooler for your fun at the beach.

Please be aware that after we accept your booking request, you will be receiving an email from The Somerset association for you to fill out their HOA form. This form has a non refundable fee of $150.

During May 1 - October 31 Renters see below in regards to Turtle Season

"Lessee [or substitute “Tenant” or “Renter” for “Lessee” everywhere that word appears in this paragraph, based on the term used in your Lease] acknowledges and understands that the period from May 1 through October 31 each year is Sea Turtle Nesting Season. Lessee agrees to Turn Off balcony lights before 9:00 p.m. and to close the drapes or window treatments of all windows facing the Gulf to minimize the projection of interior lights as any such lights may disorient an adult or newly hatched Sea Turtle. Lessee understands that the Turtles are endangered and protected by Federal Law. Substantial fines can be levied against the occupant/owner by law enforcement for violations of ordinances protecting Turtles. Lessee agrees to reimburse Owner for payment of the Fines imposed for violations during Lessee’s occupancy and for the reasonable legal defense costs incurred."

Enjoyable vacation location

We very much enjoyed the stay. The Somerset is an excellent location on the Marco Island beach and this condo has awesome sunset views. The facility is nicely furnished however the spare bedroom beds are extremely firm and could use bed cushioning pads. The beach equipment is a bit disappointing. This said, our stay was great.

Beach visit

We enjoyed our stay once again at this condo at the Somerset. Katalina was very helpful once again and we would recommend staying here. We hope to return in the future.

Never Go Back

The place was as described, clean and in fairly good condition. However, the AC didn't work which they came and fixed the next day. But there was IMMENSE construction in a unit right next to us that was not disclosed. The noise was horrendous, hammering, pounding - CONSTANT from 8-4. You couldn't sleep or even hear yourself think or talk. I have videos and pictures. There were tile shards in the elevators and workers using them all day long. The management company would do nothing for us and we discontinued our stay a day early. I will never rent from any place that uses that company to represent them. Make sure you ask them about construction prior to going - trust me, they will not tell you.

True Beach Vacation

Perfect spot on Marco. Could walk to restaurants on the beach as well as on the Island. Unit is very spacious, the balcony and view is spectacular. Washer and dryer in the unit as well as beach towels and had a locker downstairs with chairs available for the beach. The decor could use a little update, but for the location, space and view, it was a perfect vacation spot!

Paradise Found

We just spent a wonderful week on Marco Island at this beautiful condo. It has everything you need for total relaxation. The views from the balcony are wonderful. They have everything you need in a beach locker for a day lounging, or playing in the sand. Katalina makes check-in and check out seamless and is always there to answer questions and make your stay effortless.

Bugs and very outdated

When we arrived there was an infestation of knats inside the family room door wall and master bedroom door walls. They were also covering the family room ceiling light fixture. We were unable to use the outdoor patio for the first 2 days of our trip due to the bugs covering the entire patio & furniture. Sheets and towels were old and ragged. Pillows old. Blankets old and ragged. Bedding old and worn.

Very loud dusty construction and no necessities

The view from the condo is very beautiful. However, we were very disappointed by loud non-stop construction noise that would continue 7:45am-4pm every weekday. Instead of ocean-side relaxing vacation, we were in the middle of construction zone. None of us could sleep in and it was unpleasant to stay inside the unit. The workers were sanding floors and walls, which also created a lot of dust. Several of our family members were coughing and sneezing non-stop inside the condo and this would go away as soon as we left. We have not been warned about the construction, which looks like went on since April (from signs in the elevator). Moreover, the condo did not have necessities like an extra roll of toilet paper, no dishwashing liquid, none of cooking necessities or laundry detergent, etc. The cooking pots were all scratched up. You would have to buy absolutely everything, even if you stayed just a few days. We did not expect this on Marco Island.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Somerset. Everything was clean and it was well stocked. Katalina and Kurt were the best.

Great place

What a great week and what a nice place. It had everything we needed for our stay. It is decorated so cute. The host was very responsible to messages. We had no complaints and plan to return.

That view!!!!!

It's all about the view, it's spectacular! The condo is nice, a bit cluttered and was missing a few things but Kurt & Katalina were fantastic, they dropped off the missing items. Did I mention the view? Absolutely fantastic!!!

Somerset is clean and close to the beach. Katerina was more than helpful and very responsive!!! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay and we did!!!

Also it is very rare but this building is a 7 night minimum rental. The unit it self is remodeled perfectly, with walk in showers, additional queen bed off of guest bedroom, remodeled kitchen, etc.
