Spectacular

What a special place this is. Beautiful property and views with a rich history and charming 1920's cottages that have been updated with modern amenities. Ingrid and Bill are also very caring enthusiastic hosts. We look forward to returning each year.

Peace

Went there to celebrate a 3 day weekend, it was quiet, relaxing, weather was perfect and the views breathtaking. The accommodations were very comfortable, the sheets, towels, cleans and had everything I needed to cook all the meals.

One of the best stays ever!!

This cottage deserves a 10-star rating! It was beyond nice, warm and cozy, and superb cleanliness! It exceeded our expectations by far! It was my daughter's 21 birthday and staying here made it so memorable for her! The host was very helpful, and thorough! We are already planning our next trip here!

Beautiful, Peaceful and Well Appointed!

We loved our family stay at a true “Storybook Cottage” with a rich history. Beautifully designed historic property. They had everything we needed to cook, BBQ and enjoy our family. Peaceful grounds and scenery. The owners are very kind and helpful. We will return. Thank you!

Great Spot for a Guys’ Getaway

Seven of us—college buddies, all married with kids—stayed here for a reunion trip and had an awesome time. The place feels like Martha Stewart’s cottage in Martha’s Vineyard, but don’t let the decor fool you—it was super comfortable and well-equipped. Beds were great, everything was clean and easy. We hit wineries, ate at some excellent restaurants, and ended the nights smoking cigars around the fire pit. EV charging on-site was a nice bonus too. Highly recommend for a group looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy a classy but laid-back stay.

We stayed at the Cottage for our daughter's college graduation and comfortably fit 8 people in the cottage, and really enjoyed our stay all around. The setting is beautiful, very serene, and has a lovely breeze to keep the house cool. It was much cooler there than other nearby areas. We loved having the outdoor lawn to grill, sit by the firepit, and play cornhole with our family, and walk the property because the views are absolutely gorgeous of the dunes, the lake, and the sunsets. The beds are very comfortable and linens are sublime, even on the sofa pullout and murphy bed which were very comfortable. The house came with all the kitchen items you need too, and washer and dryer which is handy.The location is great, nearby to Pismo Beach and Grover Beach and a 30-minute easy drive to Cal Poly. I would recommend this cottage highly and we'll back to stay another time. Ingrid was so great in welcoming us with a delicious honey from the bees on the property and provided great communication from start to finish, and helped recommend restaurants in the area. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Dreamy Dune Lakes Coastal Retreat!

This property is TRULY a dream!!! Perched up & set back from the Pacific Coast with nobody in sight except small lakes, sand dunes & nature! I have never seen anything like it along the California coast other than Hearst Castle.;-) There are several small cottages on the property that have been updated in their own charming Shabby Chic way that are Super Cute!! WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! This is the perfect place for a family reunion or several friends to gather. Plan and cook your meals, hang around the fire pit and roast marshmallows, enjoy you favorite wines & enjoy the solitude of your own private retreat! NOW… if you’re a beach person that wants to get in the water, there is no access. View only property… beaches are driving distance nearby. Downtown Pismo and SLO are an easy drive should you want beach time or dinner on the town. Wine tours are plentiful in that area as well. Can’t wait to go back someday… to this VERY special place!!

Perfect Family Gathering Spot!

This is a beautiful property with so much space to bring your family and friends! It was so much fun to have all of us stay in different cottages on the property and having so much space to enjoy games! The host family was near by to help with any of our needs and they superseded any and all of our expectations. I would highly recommend this spot for big family and friends groups who love hanging out and enjoying some amazing views!
