Taylor's cozy one-bedroom cottage awaits you. Nestled just a short 16-minute drive from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena and 17 minutes from both Furman University and Haywood Mall, this cozy retreat offers the perfect home base for your Upstate South Carolina getaway.

As a traveler, you'll love the thoughtful amenities that await, including high-speed wifi, a washer and dryer, a cozy fireplace, and a smart TV for relaxing evenings. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher, makes it easy to prepare delicious meals, while the dining table provides a lovely setting to enjoy them.

Immaculate home in the woods

We really enjoyed how nice this home was and how we were surrounded by woods. The home was very clean and had great amenities. Correspondence with the home owner was easy and prompt. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Hidden gem in idyllic setting

Hickory Cabin rivals any high-end boutique hotel with the benefit of feeling like being home. It’s beautifully decorated and has all the creature comforts including a well-stocked kictchen, comfortable bed, and spa-like bathroom. The exterior spaces and tranquil, wooden setting are perfect for relaxing and down-time. The home is convenient to the Upstate region for a local visit, or it serves a great get away. The hosts are delightful and even had the cabin beautifully decorated for the holiday. Stop searching now and book this amazing cabin.

One word, AMAZING!!

This little “cottage” is out of a Better Homes and Garden magazine. It is beautiful and everything inside is high end. It was even tastefully decorated for Christmas. Do not look further for a rental, if you are going to the Greenville area. This was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. Safe rural setting. Quiet setting in the trees. Not far from Greenville,

Tucked Away Convenience

Hickory Cottage is now our favorite place to stay when visiting our daughter at college. The serene setting is convenient to so much the area has to offer. Stacey and Kenny are gracious hosts. Very clean, tastefully appointed and oh so relaxing. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend as much time there as we would have liked. Will be booking again and hoping to enjoy some down time at the cottage.

Great private getaway in Greenville

So glad we found Hickory Cottage! The cottage is so charming and so nicely decorated. It's a perfect getaway for a couple looking to relax and decompress. We loved the privacy of the surrounding woods and the views from all the windows. The screened porch and outdoor swings are wonderful for enjoying a good book and some coffee. The location is only about 25 minutes from downtown Greenville and some great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cottage is a real gem!

Amazing little retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our time away for a few days escaping to this picture perfect little cottage. The trip was a mini-honeymoon for us after our recent marriage, and we had wedding photos taken downtown Greenville followed by dinner reservations at the most charming Mediterranean restaurant. We were able to also explore and hike Table Rock which is only about 45 min away, and we stopped on our way back through Traveler's Rest for dinner and drinks. So many things to do in the area within just a short drive. The cottage was just as pictured and even more charming in person. My husband brought his guitar, and we enjoyed nights on the screened porch with a fire in the outdoor fireplace (firewood provided). We made the most delicious homemade biscuits and gravy and peach stuffed french toast in the well-equipped kitchen. The porch swings were perfection for morning coffee (k cups provided) wrapped in the cozy blanket provided for our use. The bathroom was a literal dream for relaxing in the soaking tub with candles provided, and it was picture perfect for us getting ready for our wedding photos. The owners were super kind and accommodating. We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, tranquil stay near Greenville and the surrounding areas, The Cottage is the perfect little escape.

Amazing!!!!

The property is amazing and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cottage is beautifully decorated, luxurious and stocked with everything one could possibly need while traveling. I wound strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect place near Greenville

Cottage

Where to start, we spent a week at this lovely, cozy, welcoming cottage. Our expectations were completely exceeded in every way. From location, to comfort and everything in between. I simply can’t say enough, the hosts are above and beyond wonderful. Hands down the absolute BEST property we have ever had the pleasure of staying. We look forward to visiting again and again! Thank you Stacey and Kenny…we hated to leave!

Felt like Home Sweet Home

We could not of been happier with our stay in this cottage. It was exactly as described, only better! We felt welcomed with our first step in side the door, so beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked, almost better than ours at home. We were able to cook all meals, amazing appliances, only ate out once. The bedroom was perfect, with ceiling fan, shades that kept the light out when needed and an extremely comfy bed. The bathroom and tub is over the top, and both fit my 6'6" husband comfortably. We spent a lot of time on the daybed swings, relaxing in the screened in porch and decided to stay in for a day to just soak up the peacefulness and tranquility of the cottage and area. Stacey and her husband are a such a delight and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. If you pass on this one, you are making a mistake!! We can't wait to go back. We would definitely give it 100 out of 10 if we could!

Beautiful, open and airy cottage in the woods

Where to begin...this is such a beautiful cottage. The hosts have gone above and beyond in making my stay enjoyable. The whole cottage is huge compared to what I thought a cottage would be like. It is very clean, bright and airy. The front room is a relaxing space where you can cozy up around the fire with a good book or watch your favorite movie on the t.v. The bathroom with it's walk-in shower is one of my favorites..it's like a mini-spa. There was more than enough room in the walk-in closet which was huge for me. I slept like a baby on the king size bed and to wake up to all the sunlight coming thru the windows was such a peaceful feeling. I made great use of the fully equipped kitchen and the washer and dryer. My favorite spot though in the evening was on the front porch enjoying one of the farmhouse bed swings listening to the tree frogs and the crickets. One morning I was able to watch 3 wild turkeys walk across the driveway into the woods. I spent most of the days out and about the area as most places I went to were 30-45 minutes away but still close enough to enjoy Taylors. For anyone that enjoys hiking Paris Mountain is close by with easy trails. I ventured out to Table Rock State Park and took on their trails. I already am looking to see when I can come back as this will be a yearly thing for me!!! Stacey and Kenny, it was a pleasure to meet you both!!! You've outdone yourselves with this place!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage

There isn't much more to say that hasn't been noted in previous reviews. The cottage is beautiful. The location fit our needs perfectly. The host was very responsive and accommodating. It is exactly as pictured. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Phenomenal and Romantic place

our hosts went above and beyond to not only meet our expectations, but they accommodated us quickly when we had to book a stay last minute. the property is luxurious, and it’s nestled into gorgeous and quiet woodland. the home felt private and we enjoyed all its amenities. the hosts provided everything you could think to need while on vacation which is such a small thing but so appreciated. we look forward to going back.

Great choice.

Never having been to the Greenville area, we weren't sure where to stay. This was the perfect choice. Great location and setting. The place was clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely Beautiful !!

After looking for a cabin in the woods, this is more than you can imagine. Away from it all but close to everything. Deer and Turkey stroll by. Beautiful “cabin” with everything you could want. Hostess is unbelievable, get taste in decor and comfort. We would highly recommend this “cabin”. If we go near that area again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there !!

Do not hesitate to book GREAT place

I can not begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the "Hickory Cottage". It was beautifully decorated with all the essential needs. Brand new might I add. Bed was extremely comfortable. Great safe neighborhood. Out of town and in the woods but close to everything. Check in & out was easy. Don't miss a nap outside on the swings and enjoy time on the screened in deck. The best VRBO we have stayed in so far, and we have stayed in several. Owner responds in a timely fashion to any questions.
