THE YELLOW HOUSE OF SEACLIFF RESORT HOMES

Escape to this peaceful private paradise located across the street from the beach in the Frank Sound and East End area. The Yellow House is part of a collection of colorful cottages that offers elegant interior coupled with a tranquil quiet island setting. Relax by the pool, sit shaded in our gazebo with outdoor fans, or have your coffee in our screened in lanai while watching the sway of the palm trees, cayman parrots, and a few island chickens run around. Take a few steps across the street to to the beach or drive to the many beaches and attractions in the area. Luxury is not spared with granite and travertine thru-out. Two Master Suites with queen size beds, each with it's own ensuite bathroom. There is a full size sofa bed on the first floor for an extra sleep area.. First floor powder room, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table all decorated in a Tommy Bahama motif. Enjoy our front porch with adirondack chairs for shaded relaxation. The Yellow House comes equipped with coffee maker, toaster, blender, cookware, all utensils, washer and dryer, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, blow dryer, Turkish beach towels, 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach coolers, fishing poles, dvd movies, books, games, wifi, and 3 Smart tv's with applications loaded for your streaming.
Upon booking I will provide you with a packet of information including great tips, maps, our favorite activities, favorite restaurants, and many other places you should NOT miss while on island. Our guests have also written in our guest book with some great advice as well.

You will see and experience EVERYTHING while staying at The Yellow House.

East End Wonderful Yellow House

The yellow house was exactly how my husband and I hoped it would be. It is located at the east end of the island away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. It is necessary to have a car to visit all of the sites on the island. All of the beaches are beautiful some with ocean waves and some with calm waters. The yellow house was very clean and well equipped. Everything was provided for a great beach vacation. Our host provided a list of restaurants which we enjoyed very much especially Eagle Rays. We ate there three times! The kitchen at the house had everything needed to make cooking convenient. We made all of our breakfasts and even had fresh eggs from an island farm. Our host was very responsive to our questions and usually got back to us within an hour. The pool was great and very clean although we spent most of our time at the various beaches. We are a retired couple, but the house would be great for a family with children also. We would definitely recommend the Yellow House for a vacation in Grand Cayman.

Great Vacation

This was a great property. It was exactly as advertised and reasonably priced. The location is in a lightly populated area which was a plus. It was very quiet and far away from the cruise ships.

Great home on the East End!

Clean and homey spot on the east end of the island! Everything available including cooler to take to the beach! Great host who gave us all the info we needed for a fun family stay! Great restaurant recommendations! Comfy beds. Quiet spot on the island with everything you need. Would definitely recommend for anyone with a family!

Great house and location

We loved staying at the Yellow House during our time in Grand Cayman. The location provided a good home base for exploring the island in all directions, and a quiet place to unwind afterwards. The house is well maintained, provided a lot of amenities for our family, and the host was very helpful providing info and communicating with us. We recommend the Yellow House for your next vacation!

Winter 2020 getaway from WI winter.

We had an amazing time. This house is in a great location and the homeowner is wonderful to work with. When we visit the Caymans again we will definitely stay here. The neighborhood is very quiet and the house is really nice and clean. The homeowner also gave us a great list of things to do and restaurants to visit, along with a list of beaches.

Peaceful East End w/ the best restaurants close by

We all felt this was a wonderful house in a great location. We chose this location because it looked nice, clean, away from the fray, and yet not too far away when we wanted to go for snorkeling. We love coming home each day to the house to refresh and then eat at Tukka’s, Eagle Ray’s or Taco Cantina. The experience of the house and location met and exceeded our expectations. Yellow House

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is away from the crowds which we really liked. Everything we needed for cooking was there, although, we just ate breakfast and lunch there. It was convenient to Ocean Frontiers which is the dive shop we were using for our diving.

Amazing Vacation Property!

The Yellow House on Grand Cayman is a beautiful place to spend a family holiday! Jennie has thought of every detail! The house is perfect - beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our stay at The Yellow House, on the not so touristy side of the island. The home was clean and well equipped with everything you would need....from supplies for the beach to the fully equipped kitchen. We did have to call Jennie the owner once and she took care of our needs right away. We only ate out a few times, but really liked the Czech Inn Grill!!!! Had a great time snorkeling, diving and kayaking.... This was the perfect place to start the next chapter of our life...RETIREMENT!!!! Thank you Jennie

Perfect in every way!

A perfect , charming house equipped with everything you need. My family and I stayed at this house and were very impressed with how extremely modern, spacious and clean this house was. The host was very friendly and attentive and made us feel welcome; and made it clear than we can reach her at anytime if need be. The house is also very airy. All bathrooms are fully updated and so is the kitchen and appliances. The entire property, inside and out is meticulous and well maintained. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Grand Cayman! Already missing the cute yellow house!! .

Well kept comfortable property

We stayed here,(2 Couples) for 2 weeks in January. House is located on the quieter east end side of the island. The house is as advertised with W&D, AC, dishwasher, internet, and tv satellite. Very comfortable accommodations with each bedroom having a private bath. The house is in excellent condition and easy to get to. The beach across the street from the property is kind of rocky, however Jennie provided a very informative map describing all the beaches on the island and amenities provided. A list her favorite restaurants was also provided which we found to be very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Grand Cayman.

Relaxing Beach Vacation

We had a fabulous time at the Yellow House. It’s our first time in the Cayman Islands. My husband and I live a crazy busy life so when we vacation we want to relax and hang where the locals hang. The house is situated on the East side of the island away from the craziness of seven mile beach. Before arriving we were supplied a list of recommendations of things to see and places to eat. It was so very helpful. The house accommodations were great. I would stay here again. Thank you for opening your home away from home.

Exactly as described

No hidden surprises here, at least not bad ones. Well appointed home with semi private pool (which doesn't seem to ever be used by the other owner). Great central location to explore the island, very private escape to enjoy at the end of a busy day. Great family vacation and look forward to booking again!

Our Family Always Stays at The Yellow House

This was our 4th stay at The Yellow House and as always, it was perfect. The owners are so accommodating and quickly responded to any questions; seems like they strive to make sure we have another great vacation in their home and around the island. Upon entering, the home was very clean and beautifully decorated. The Master Bedroom is large with a nice Master Bath. Our children stayed in the 2nd bedroom with their own full bathroom which is a great plus for us. New this year, the house added 2 "cots" which are so comfortable with a memory foam mattress; my kids loved them and I definitely could use them in my home (very modern, fold up into attractive bench). Sometimes they would sleep on the pull out sofa in the Family Room with a foam mattress topper and watch TV or movies late night. We rarely watched TV because we enjoy our daily routine of breakfast, beach all day into dinnertime, sunset, then back to the house for showers, games and pool time. They have Direct TV with a lot of channels and a DVD player - all worked great. Another bonus, which my kids (and our data plans) especially appreciated was WiFi! The pool was really nice; love having coffee in the morning, watching and listening to the beautiful parrots & amusing roosters; a huge lizard visited us too. This little area of cute homes is across the street from Heritage Beach from where we watched the sunsets. I may be going on a "mom's trip" soon and can't wait to check out the newly screened-in side porch. The owners gave us new recommendations for places/beaches we haven't seen in prior years: We went to Tiki Beach which had a huge outdoor covered bar/restaurant and nice beach. My kids wanted to make sure we fit in taking all the fun photo's - the Blow Holes, jumping off small cliffs at Smith Barcadere (formerly Smith Cove) - nice snorkeling there too, the "flip-flop" tree, etc. In Georgetown by the water, there are guys under canopies filleting fresh fish that you select; kids never saw anything like it; the fish was excellent on the grill back at the house. Two years ago, we went the Sting Ray City and swam with dolphins - such great experiences and great photo's too. Rum Pointe is a favorite spot - picturesque setting with good food, best rum runners, hammocks, snorkeling and WiFi (in a certain area) - kids played sand volleyball for hours and met a lot of other kids. We used to go to Florida every year, but now it's Cayman - it's a real vacation!

Love the yellow house!!!

The yellow house was an amazing place to stay with our friends. We all had a great time. Relaxing, quiet and entertaining all in one. The location is perfect for both sides of the island. The house had everything we needed to accommodate us for our 4 day stay. Thank you. WE WILL BE BACK.

"A Little Piece of Heaven!"

We spent our recent vacation in this lovely (super clean) home. This was the third place we've rented on Grand Cayman and it was definitely our favorite!! After suffering through a never-ending winter in the midwest, we loved the quaintness of the island and this home. We loved having the option of using the pool on the property or being able to choose from numerous, gorgeous, clear water beaches. The house was spotless and contained everything we needed. The location was far enough away to be peaceful, yet central enough for us to explore different beaches every day. The owner was a pleasure to deal with from our first inquiry until we got home. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in peace and quiet. We will definitely stay at the Yellow House when we return to this incredible island!!

Grand Cayman Yellow House=Perfect Family Vacation

Just got back from our stay at the Yellow House. We have been to Grand Cayman several times and never stayed in a home. Well we have learned our lesson. So much better than the hotels we have stayed at. The quiet location was such a nice change from other parts of the island. The owner was very helpful with tips and was accommodating with some last minute changes that we needed. Two teenagers were happy to have their own bedroom while the younger ones just loved having their own pool. I would recommend this home for families and girls getaway. Rum Point was great! And the beach across the street had great snorkeling and was so close. All in all I will definitely be coming back to this home! I've already talked with the owner about using this place next year.

We Loved The Yellow House

We had an amazing stay at The Yellow House. The home was is well cared for and in perfect condition. We enjoyed the private pool and loved taking a stroll across the street to the beach. We visited the blow holes up the street, went to Rum Point, and The Sweet Spot for kiteboarding lessons. We spent our days visiting many of the places the owner suggested and more. Jennie (the owner) was very easy to work with. We went out to eat and also cooked at home. We purchased fresh fish and used the grill provide a couple of times. This was exactly what we expected and more. If you are looking for a relaxing peaceful stay this is the home for you. We will be back next year.

Tricked in the Tropics

We don't appreciate being deceived. In the online description of the property the owner states the house is equipped with"...DVD movies, books, games, wi-fi and cable TV". There was no wi-fi and no Internet as was mentioned under "General.". It wasn't until after she received our check and sent us the information packet did we learn that ..."wi-fi. We do not have it in our home but we have been able to pick up signals from our neighbors". So she is relying on neighbors to supply her renters with Internet access? She better come up with a new plan because every one of her neighbors has password protected wi-fi. Maybe she should think about doing what everyone else does and get her own internet access. BTW, also in her information packet is the comment "Being off the grid is good. Try it you will like it. lol." It's one thing when you have the choice but quite another when she's making the decision for you. We didn't see the humor in it. Other issues: if you're nostalgic for older analog televisions you'll like this place as both tv's are analog, and they show programming from the most basic satellite service. The online description of the property mentions water views but there aren't any. Well maybe. If you can access the balcony off the upstairs front bedroom and squint a bit you may be able to see a sliver of blue off in the distance, but we couldn't open the door. Three people tried and failed. It could be a safety issue if someone ever needed to egress the room in an emergency and was older like us or frail and may have trouble going through a window. The owner mentions Frank Sound Beach as being across the street. Well yes it is across the street, but also 3-4 km west. The beach across the street is Heritage Beach. Less than an acre in size, it has a shoreline composed almost entirely of very sharp rock outcroppings, and starting just a few feet offshore is a thick mat of turtle grass. At least 3 websites say it's not recommended for swimming. There are 2 videos of the beach that people have uploaded to YouTube. In the information packet the owner writes "If you break something tell us...we won't get mad:)))". Well we didn't break anything but when we did inform her of items that did not work she hit the roof, calling us in so many words complainers and telling us never to write to her again. Grand Cayman is a beautiful island and the people are so nice. We will be returning to the East End but will choose another place to stay.

THE DIVE OPERATORS OCEAN FRONTIERS IS RIGHT UP THE STREET AND RED SAIL SPORTS IS AT RUM POINT. RESTAURANTS ARE PLENTIFUL AND I WILL PROVIDE OUR PICKS UPON BOOKING. OUR HOME SITS ACROSS THE ROAD FROM A QUIET SMALL BEACH CALLED HERITAGE BEACH WHERE YOU CAN WATCH BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS OR TAKE A FISHING POLE AND TRY YOUR LUCK.
