That’s certainly not the standard we strive to provide, and we understand how frustrating and uncomfortable that must have been for your family. We have shared your comments with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to address the deep cleaning concerns, windows and mirrors, mattress comfort, and the hot tub settings. As for the stink bugs, they can unfortunately be common in the mountains during certain seasons, but we are taking additional preventative measures to help minimize this moving forward. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the spectacular views from the front deck and the hot tub. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience at Logged Out didn’t meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond and clarify a few points for future guests. First, we completely understand how frustrating it can be to encounter an abundance of bugs during a stay. Stink bugs and ladybugs are indeed more common in the mountains, particularly during seasonal changes, and log homes—despite our best efforts—tend to attract them more than modern construction. While we have pest control measures in place, it’s unfortunately not possible to completely eliminate them in this environment. We do our best to manage the situation and appreciate your understanding that this is a part of mountain life. In terms of climate control, the cabin is equipped with a mini split system for both heating and cooling, along with two additional window units to ensure guest comfort. We’ll make sure this is even more clearly communicated in the listing to avoid any confusion. We’re sorry to hear the queen mattress was uncomfortable for you. Mattress preference does vary greatly by guest, but we always take this type of feedback seriously when evaluating future updates to the home. Regarding the hot tub, it was serviced and cleaned prior to your arrival, as is standard before each guest checks in. However, had we been notified of any issues during your stay, we would have gladly sent someone out to take a look right away. Lastly, the grill on the property is a charcoal grill, which is accurately listed in the amenities section of the listing. We recommend guests review the listing details closely so they can plan meals and packing accordingly. We're truly glad you enjoyed the beautiful view from the porch.
