Great location with easy 10 min commute to downtown, the coastal trail and 7 minutes to the airport. Easy access to main hi way to travel either north or south. Bright, immaculate and spacious 1500 sq. ft. home with 3 bedrooms. Master has queen bed and 1/2 bath, 2nd bedroom has double and 3rd is a small bunk bed room ideal for a child over 8+. Front room has a 47' flat screen TV, Roku stick and high speed internet. Home is fully equipped and ready to accommodate adults and children over 8+ yo. Parking for 2+ vehicles.

Very nice stay

Calm and quiet location with a fully equipped kitchen, relaxing bright living room with a lot of plants. Very uncomplicated and friendly welcome. Comprehensive information material provided to plan hikes and scenic trips.

comfortable and pleasant house near airport

The house is close to the airport and Downtown Anchorage. It had everything we needed for the stay with the washer and dryer and all cooking appliances and utensils. Clean and cute, with character. Would stay there again.Owner was very welcoming.

Fantastic place to stay

Such a nice property and Sue goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. We were less than 10 minutes from everything in Anchorage. The place was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice homely place to stay

Great property, very cozy and home like feel and good amenities, centrally located and lots of natural light to make you feel like you are in nature with plenty of trees and plants inside the house as well. Clean property, is on upper level with a quick flight of stairs. Lots of parking

Lovely home!

Group of 5 adults had plenty of room to get ready for a busy day, or lounge around in the evening, in this lovely, feel good, home. As already stated in other reviews, the neighborhood is quiet with easy access to major through roads, the house well-stocked, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed chatting about gardening and Alaska living with Sue. If we can return to Anchorage for another visit, we would stay at Sue's.

Alaska 2022

We were traveling with our adult sons ( five of us) on a spectacular trip to Alaska. This was our first stop. The house was clean and comfortable. The owner even provided, soap, shampoo, lotion, spices, laundry soap, fabric softener, fresh flowers and toilet paper. Sue was very helpful with information and suggestions. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Accommodating and receptive host

Sue was a very accommodating host and helped us get set up during our several days' visit. We loved having a nice sunny spot to stay in during our time in Anchorage.

Perfect spot for all things Anchorage

We spent three nights at this VRBO in August before heading to Kodiak. The place was perfect for three adults. We each had our own space and plenty of room to move around. The biggest benefit is the location! With people flying in and out at different times it was conveniently located to the airport and everywhere else was a quick 5-10 minute drive. The property owner was always quick to respond which was very helpful.

Great location and plenty of room to relax inside and out!

Lovely property. Stairs are a little tricky if you have anyone not entirely sure footed (elderly). Awesome outdoor back patio for hanging out. Located perfectly- near enough to airport and downtown and also close to highways. Very nice homeowner.

Beautiful Home in Anchorage

We will definiitely be visiting this home again. Sue was AMAZING! And the house was just as incredible. It's much bigger than the pictures indicated. Very spacious rooms. The house is fully stocked and very comfortable. The location is perfect. Close to grocery stores and downtown which we really enjoyed! We would highly recommend staying here and we WILL be back!

Just like home!

Everything was very easy and ready for us, which was appreciated after traveling 15 hours to get there. Great central location. Lots of space to spread out. I highly recommend!

I would love to return

Sparkling clean, sunny inside, comfortable beds, the kitchen and dining area were charming and the house lacked nothing. The location was central to everywhere we went. Sue was nice and accommodating. So glad we landed at this house.

Great vacation

Family of 5 stayed here. Very roomy and comfortable beds! Sue was extremely helpful and friendly! If we come back to Alaska, we will definitely stay here again! Only thing I recommend- black out curtains for guests not used to the daylight nights and a full length mirror in the house.

This is the home that I grew up in and it was built by my father in the 50's. The upstairs was added in 1964. The house has always been warm and bright in the winter when the days are cold and dark. The location is easily accessable to the main N/S road which either takes you downtown or out to the Seward highway heading south.
