Hi Ellen! Thanks very much for your kind review! I enjoyed meeting you, your husband and family! I'm so happy that everyone had an amazing time at our home. You are the 2nd guest in a row to mention the playroom and beach gear -- THANK YOU - I forget to include that in the description of the house and it's something that my guests have really appreciated over the years! York Village IS small but we love that our guests can easily walk to a great coffee shop, ice cream (that has amazing ice cream cookie sandwiches), convenience store and a bunch of historical museums -- those haven't changed much since I was kid growing up here. I'm not sure if you ventured down to York Beach (10 min drive) there is a small zoo/amusement park, arcade, bowling alley, touristy shops etc. Portsmouth, NH is only 15 minutes away and has an incredible amount of things to experience. Many guests like staying in the quieter part of town but being able to easily get to these other spots via a short drive. We also have 3 incredible restaurants that are a 5 minute walk from the house (writing this more for future guests than for you!). We look forward to you all coming back to stay with us again!
