We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was just as described. The views from the house were spectacular, especially when the sun is setting!! The kids loved the bunk room and have already requested we stay here next year!! We definitely hope to book here again!!

The host was welcoming. The amenities were wonderful. The home was stocked with every and anything that we needed. It was extremely clean, immaculate. Such a beautiful place to stay.

Family Vacation

Great property, communicative owner. Great for our family gathering of 19 including children as young as 9 months to 10 years. Would book again.

Wonderfully supplied kitchen/baths! Beautiful views from EVERY window on all 4 floors!!! Lovely home w every amenity! And the kids bunk room/playroom was so perfect!

Awesome weekend

Has a great stay at this beautiful property. Plenty of space and great layout for a large group. Hosts were extremely responsive and communicated very well. Would highly recommend.

Our family had an absolutely WONDERFUL weekend at the lake house. The home far exceeded my expectations. As inviting and beautiful as the photos are, they do not do the property justice. It truly is THAT AMAZING. We had four generations of our family there and we made memories that I will always be grateful for. THANK YOU for providing such a well appointed and comfortable paradise!

Family trip

The house was beautiful! There was plenty of room for our group of 20 to spread out. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the water, but they have several benches/chairs to stop at with pretty views on the way down. I suggest bringing small backpack coolers to bring down to the water and keeping your large cooler on your boat before you put it in the water to save you the struggle.

Gorgeous home and amazing views

We had a wonderful stay; however, the elevator was out while we were there which was difficult for my mom who has difficulty with stairs and for our great niece with CP. We were excited to have the elevator so not knowing ahead of time was disappointing. The stairs down to the water were definitely more daunting than we had anticipated but the dock was terrific. We were able to ferry people from the house to Squirrels by boat to avoid the outside stairs issue for those who couldn't manage it. Overall it was a beautiful property and we had a great family visit.

Last minute trip to the lake!

We had a great time in this house! It was clean and lovely, and stocked with so many thoughtful things that made our time - and our kids time - so fun and so easy while we were there. The only thing to be aware of is the just under 200 stairs you have to climb to get back to the house from the dock. The kids didn't mind, but it wasn't as easy for the grandparents! Also, the surrounding area is very rural, without any easy access to grocery stores or markets. So be sure to bring whatever food you need while you're there!

The house and the condition of the house is 11/10, zero complaints whatsoever. It was amazing, in fact. The only issue (and it ended up being a big issue) was that there are 190 steps down to the dock. This was more than my mother and stepfather could do (it’s about 10 flights of stairs for reference) so they literally couldn’t once go down to the dock. I do wish that was made more clear as it had a big impact on their trip but for those of us who are young and in shape, it was a quad burner but nothing we couldn’t get through multiple times per day. There is a marina around the corner so if you want to rent this house but have some guests who can’t walk up 10 flights of stairs easily, you could drive the boat around the corner and pick them up there but it’s a bit of a hassle. Other than that, the house had everything we could have ever needed or even dreamed of (I mean…a Harry Potter closet!). Maybe the listing does mention the stairs but I didn’t see it. Again, Leigh Anne was great to work with and thought of everything for us.

This was an amazing house!!! We had 13 people, and everyone had their own space. The details of this house and the intentionality of every space was amazing! The only downside was the 170 stairs that you had to walk up and down to the dock. I only mention it, because it would not be ideal for older people or if you were having to carry little kids up and down. But besides for that, it was perfect! We will definitely be back!!!

Met the owners, they were very friendly. Leigh Anne was very responsive. The house is beautiful and owners are very thoughtful in their accommodations. Hope to stay there again

The view is great. The house is beautiful. So many amenities. Extras to make you comfortable away from home. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are so comfortable. The location is close to boat rentals. We ate at Trident Marina Grille. Fast service and good food. Dollar General is close too. One negative thing about this property was the long walk down the stairs to the boat dock. Over a hundred steps. The stove and oven need some attention as well.

This is an immaculate property, spacious and invitingly constructed and furnished. Plenty of gathering and cooking, eating spots indoor and out. The bedrooms/baths are comfortable and well supplied. Game room, TVs lounging spots were a hit with the kids. Great for a family gathering. The dock is fabulous, with two decks for water fun on a beautiful cove. Gorgeous sunsets. The steps to the dock are a bit of a challenge physically for us older folks, but safe and strong, with several small decks on the way. I am 75 and made it down and up several times a day, though with a good bit of heavy breathing… a good workout . We loved it, and will surely be back again, God allowing.
