"Split Rock Cove"- Located in Rock Creek

Discover absolute relaxation and fun at Split Rock Cove. Split Rock Cove is a terrific blend of comfort and cozy for your lake vacation. Split Rock Cove sets on a gradual slope over-looking the emerald waters of beautiful Smith Lake. Enjoy the view from the expansive deck, swim in the clear waters from your private dock, or if you prefer take a quiet secluded walk.

This 5 bedroom/3.5 bath home has an open eat-in kitchen, den and master suite on the main level. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless appliances including a gas range and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Upstairs overlooks the den and has two bedrooms ( 1 king and 1 queen) that share a central bath. Downstairs you will find an oversized recreational room that leads to two additional bedrooms (1 king and 2 twins), a queen sofa bed and a full bath.

There are plenty of options if you just want to lounge outdoors. The den has access to an expansive lake side deck or a screened-in porch while the downstairs rec room leads out onto a covered lake side patio with gas grill.

• Ice machine located downstairs
• Rock Creek Marina is about 10 minutes by road and less than 5 minutes by water
• Floating dock is in deep water with beautiful rock formations (see if you can find the split rock) and an open slip for mooring your boat

Great location with easy walk to the lake

With three levels the property was great for extended family to stay together. Loved the open dining, kitchen and living room!

Spring Break at Smith Lake

Spring Break at Smith Lake is our new family tradition and this house is our absolute favorite. The house is perfect for entertaining, spreading out, and just relaxing at the dock or fire pit! This property is always our first choice! The owners and manager are amazing, the house is always spotless, and so well appointed! We are already looking forward to our next stay!

Family Fun

We absolutely loved staying here! The house was perfect for the adults and 8 teenagers. We loved not having stairs all the way to the boat dock.We hope to stay here again next summer.

Perfect Summer Vacation

I have traveled all over the US and stayed in rental homes, and this was the best one yet! The bone was beautifully appointed and had EVERYTHING we needed for a large group. We will definitely be back!! The property had something for everyone and was perfect. It was also easy to get to which is a plus for the lake!

Great New Year Getaway

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at this property with family and friends to celebrate the New Year. Sleeping accommodations and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was modern with well-appointed utensils and cookware. The fire pit was perhaps our favorite, which was especially nice after a polar bear plunge.

Long weekend to get summer started

Our family has stayed at this property before and it our favorite on the lake! Great house, great location, and amazing outdoor space! We had the fire pit going every night! The floor plan is perfect for everyone to have their own space with killer views of the lake! Already looking forward to our next trip!

Wonderful stay

Beautiful house with an amazing lake expierence. The ability to just sit on a rock couch in the water and relax was perfect. Host was responsive and pleasent. House was clean and well stocked with the basics. Our group is already planning to make this a yearly trip.

Wonderful Sisters Weekend

This property was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean, well stocked, and beautifully done. The host was also very friendly. He brought us some firewood and fire starter for the fire pit and we had a great time making use of it! I would definitely recommend this property!

Split Rock did not disappoint!

Clean, well maintained home with plenty of room for our family of ten. Kitchen had everything you would need and plenty of towels and linens. Beautiful yard with easy access to the boat dock.

Wonderful getaway for family and friends

We had a wonderful time at Split Rock Cove with our family and extended family. The house is beautiful and well-appointed, with lovely grounds and features. Moms with little ones- the oversize laundry room is large enough to fit a pack n play into (which is such a huge help!). The hosts were so helpful with their quick responses to questions regarding the surrounding area as we planned our trip. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!

Another amazing stay at Split Rock Cove

This was either the fourth or fifth stay at this property! We absolutely love it! So comfortable, amazing floor plan for teens, and fantastic location! Daughter and friends occupied the downstairs while adults hung out upstairs. This property is always clean, well appointed, and in a quiet part of the lake. I am already looking for dates for our next visit! Five stars!

Family vacation

The house and property were perfect for my family, we had 8 adults and one child and plenty of room, the house had everything we needed and more, couldn’t have found a better place to stay! We all loved it! Easy access to water! Boat dock also was great, accommodated our two boats without any problems, great bumpers around dock as well. My adult children and nephew loved snorkeling around the rocks looking for fish!!
