This was a very well stocked home, with plenty of room for a large family, and tons of fun tucked away! Our family loved the popcorn maker and provided snacks during a game night and enjoyed the back yard fire pit another night. The kitchen had every tool and gadget you'd need to make a delicious meal, and a nearby local restaurant down the road (Bouy's) didn't disappoint when we didnt feel like cooking. The only down side was the distance to Mammoth Cave when the Green River Ferry was closed. (It took nearly an hour to get to the tours, rather than 30 minutes when taking the ferry.) Our daughter loved sitting in the porch swing and admiring the sweet little neighborhood.We look forward to returning in warmer weather to enjoy the near by lakes and kayaks!

Such a perfect family property! The house had everything you could need for your stay, and the hosts paid attention to every detail. Our kids loved the games, hammock, yard, and fire pit. Sunsets by the lake were a favorite! Easy drive to Mammoth Cave and the surrounding area - would absolutely recommend.

There was a bit of confusion around the property not being pet friendly (my child chose the rental, clearly her mistake) but the property owners were on hand to let us know of our misunderstanding and allow us time to send our pets to a family property in the area. The cabin was clean with plenty of sleeping space and an amazing assortment of kitchen gadgets to make our stay smooth. 10/10 recommend this property for families traveling without pets!

Cozy Family getaway

This property was very cozy, clean, had all the amenities from cooking, outdoor activities/toys, board games to doing laundry. Area is very quiet and rolling hills of beauty. Communication with host was very prompt and clear. Highly recommend renting this VRBO for your next family getaway!

Quite and Clean

The area was quiet and the home was clean when we arrived. Necessities were provided to include shampoo and conditioner which is always a perk not having to pack for 7 people. The kids enjoyed the selection of board games(:

Girls Trip ‘2025’

Me, my daughter and a my two best friends decide to do a quick girls trip and I found this place and wow!! When I say you truly have ALL the things you need! If you book this place is just like walking into your own home after a long trip. The place gives you the feeling of home and comfort..Steohanie is an amazing host and will be booking again soon!

Nice place to stay, no cell service around the area. Have to drive a good distance to stores and food. Location is remote which was nice, and neighborhood was quite.

Wonderful property close to Nolin Lake

This house was so nice. There was hot water and many towels. There was a loft with two beds and two more big beds at ground level. The owner always responded to messages and left many snacks and water for us. We went to Mammoth cave, so this property was about 45 minutes away, but we enjoyed the drive and were glad to see this wonderful area. The Nolin Lodge and restaurant Buoys was 5 minutes away, so this was very very convenient for dinner. We would stay here again if in the area. Everything was so very nice. Thank you to the owners.
