This lovely two-story cape cod home has 2 BR up with a full bath. The first floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, queen bedroom and a full bath. This home sleeps 6 guests comfortably. There are hardwood floors throughout. Step out on to the deck and enjoy the outdoors while cooking out on the grill or snuggling by the fire pit! You may see deer or turkeys at any given moment. Pre-approved K-9 companions welcome ONLY WITH ADVANCE NOTICE. There is plenty of room to play catch, or sit outside and enjoy the views of 5 secluded acres. Bring your boat it is a quick drive to Lake Erie! Plenty of parking. There is so much to see in Ashtabula County. Covered Bridges, Wineries, Historic Lift Bridge, Geneva Grape Jamboree, D Day, Thunder on the Strip, Spire Institute. Quick access to I 90 & RT 11. Property is 50 minutes from downtown Cleveland and 45 Minutes from Erie Pa.

Great Place

Our group of 6 has stayed here 2 years in a row for our gals get away weekend. There is plenty of room for our group, comfortable beds, great patio, great fire pit. Everything we need for a weekend of relaxing and catching up with one another. Highly recommend!

The property is peaceful and quiet. The home was clean and clutter free. Deb was quick to respond and all instructions were clear and easy to understand. My family loved staying here and we would definitely stay again!

Country living

Great place. Quite, beautiful area. In the middle of nowhere yet 5 minutes from everything. House was clean, in beautiful condition and has everything you need. Host was accommodating and pleasant. Backyard view.

The only disappointment was it advertised a hot tub and there was not one.

Great rental experience

This house might look small from the outside, but it is much bigger than it appears. Our party included my wife and I, three kids between the ages of 11 and 17, my parents and our dog. The house had everything we needed for our 3 day stay.

Week stay

The place was nice. If I had to give any advice maybe update the cookware. We stayed for a week and wanted to cook some meals and the pans are not non stick so it was difficult to cook and more seating. We had family over and we couldn’t sit together for meals. But we had a good stay.

Absolutely Amazing Stay

I have stayed in soo many properties over the last several years & this one is by far the most accommodating. The owner has thought of everything. She is also very quick to respond & such a delight. It is spacious & though several people can stay, everyone felt comfortable with privacy. I could not have asked for a better property. Huge backyard for the kids to run & a nice firepit for evening laughs. Watching the wildlife in the backyard was so cool for my granddaughters. We watched a family of turkeys in the morning & deer grazing at night.

Enough beds for 6 guys to have their own bed was great! Our host Deb was excellent throughout the booking process and when we arrived. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay there. If we all go back next year, I will definitely try to stay there!

We had a good visit, and found your place comfortable and relaxed, and love the personal feel with your antique furniture and bed linen, and nice to have the space and back garden. With less guests than we were meant to be having the one bathroom was fine but if we had been a bigger group who weren't all family I think access to upstairs bathroom through one bedroom would have been awkward- that might be something to mention to avoid potential negative comments.

First time at GOTL

We enjoyed our stay. We could all stay under one roof. Family from various places in Ohio and NC. The grandkids had a big back yard to play frisbee, corn hole and soccer. The fire pit and chairs were perfect for hot dogs and s’mores. The quaint place was furnished with items maybe you forgot. Dollar general and has close by. 20 mins from GOTL

Siblings get together.

We throughly enjoyed the peaceful setting and used the fire pit several times. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need or want. Got to see some deer and wild turkeys in the field behind the house but the spectacular show was the lighting bugs. They gave the aurora borealis a run for its money. Would stay again.

A Wonderful Home Away from Home!

This home is beautiful with the most magnificent quilts in each room. It's larger than we expected both inside and outside. There is a huge front and backyard. We played yard games and enjoyed smores by the fire ring. We had a family emergency during our stay and the owner kindly made arrangements for us to extend our stay. We felt very comfortable here and enjoyed being close to our family as well as so many local attractions.

Cozy & Spacious

This place was really great for the price. Plenty of room and lots of beds. The place was very clean. There were lots of cooking utensils and options for use, as well as a cabinet with different spices, which was convenient. It felt homey and inviting and the host was quick to respond to questions and was helpful. There was lots of info provided with local amenities and things to do in the area. It was a pleasant surprise and helpful for our stay. The only thing we wish we were advised of prior to the trip was the high sulphur content in the water, which makes it smell a bit unpleasant. However, the water was clean and safe to drink, bathe and cook with. There were plenty of towels and blankets Overall a wonderful stay. We would come back in the future.

Family Weekend

We stayed at this property for 4 night. The house is very nice and the yard is a great size. We spent our evenings around the fire each night. The owner even delivered us some firewood to use. The location is very private yet close enough to actives and stores.

Family visit

Property worked great for 5 family members; everyone had their own space. WiFi worked well for those that needed to work/attend school part of the time. House generally had the basics that we needed and we enjoyed our side trips in the area.

Great Getaway!!

This house was a perfect stay for a Bachlorette weekend in Wine Country! It's close enough to visit the wineries all day and then retreat back for relaxing evenings. House was Clean, beds were comfy and the firepit was great! Everything we needed and Deb was easy to get ahold of to answer all the questions we had before getting there. Thanks again!

Wonderful Ladies Weekend

Our little group of ladies in our family really enjoyed our stay. Deb thought of everything from listings for restaurants and brochures for things to do in the area. The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was out of the way but close enough to points of interest. We had a great time and would return in the future if we do it again.

I have lived next to this home for 30 years, once it became available for sale I purchased it. I would like others to enjoy the quiet country life! Beautiful yard with plenty of leg room.
