A home and hopefully your happy place!

This home is located in the coastal Low Country of South Carolina in the beautiful beach, golf and tennis community of Debordieu Colony. This private gated community is just south of Pawleys Island, S.C. and Litchfield Beach. Celebrate the sun, sand and sea at this lovely, professionally decorated, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath second row home with ocean and pond views. This home also features a living room/dining room with fireplace and wet bar and a downstairs den with fireplace and wet bar, front screened and open porches and a back deck with gas grill overlooking pond, an elevator, 4 TVs, wireless Internet, book library, great appliances in the kitchen, bicycles, beach chairs, fish sink. This home has a Sports Membership which gives you access to the 2 pools at the Beach Club, dining, fitness gym, tennis and golf, however DeBordieu charges $200 per day per rental for access for rental guests. If you don't want to use the amenities, there is no extra charge. DeBordieu also does charge $20 per vehicle to generate gate passes during your stay.

Wonderful property

The Grayson Family Thanksgiving Vacation

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home. The kitchen was a great gathering spot…we prepared many meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each with its own bathroom, plenty of personal space. Each bedroom had a deck connected to it, which was great. The deck on the top level with the fire pit was wonderful. I definitely recommend this home. It is comfortable, spacious, plenty amenities, luxurious. The community of Debordieu is very nice too.

Great stay

We have been coming to Debordieu for over 20 years and this is now one of our favorites. Very convenient to beach and amenities and also plenty of space to accommodate all of our inside needs - remote work, read, catch up, eat, etc. There are numerous porches for a relaxing spot no matter the time of day. Sue was a fantastic host who made us feel at home - before we even got there.

Gorgeous home and location

We had a lovely time on Debordieu, the house is perfectly located, short walk to the beach with views of the ocean and enjoyed the waterway out back with a blue heron. The house was fully stocked and included beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, beach cart). The best was the communication from our host, easy and quick responses before and after the trip.

Perfect Thanksgiving

This property had a very equipped kitchen. The layout of bedrooms was perfect for my family. Very easy walking distance to the beach.

Best vacation

Had such a wonderful time I was a very very peaceful neighborhood. The host was wonderful extremely friendly and very helpful. The house was very clean and very well decorated. So much to do there can't wait to go back and be able to do more.

Great Family Getaway and Birthday Celebration

Great house to host a larger family or group. Loved the two living rooms and well stocked kitchen. Susan was absolutely amazing to rent from! My 77 year old mother enjoyed her Birthday Vacay! Thank you Susan!

Great Location! Private with excellent access to beach

Our family loved this home! So roomy and cheerful. Susan was a dream to work with! Can't wait to rent it again next year! It's was hard to decide with porch had the best view. Highly recommend!

Great family vacation

The house was great for our family! Plenty of room to spread out. Very well equipped with everything we needed, beach chairs, toys, and more. The elevator was much needed for my husband that uses a cane. Beach access is right across the street. Beautiful home and wonderful week 🏖️🙌👍

Great House and Location

This home is well laid out and equipped. Great view of the ocean from front screen porch and short 2 min walk to beach just across the street. The owner is very helpful and made everything easy. Look forward to renting again.

Great House

This house is well furnished and has a good layout for a family including a small yard and turtles sunning on the dock! Large master on the main level then a queen across from a twins room and another queen on the second level (each with one bathroom) with a large gathering room.

Super week at Debordieu!

Had a wonderful time at the Brabham house and at Debordieu! Susan was wonderful to work with and answered any questions we had immediately. Thanks Susan for the use of your beautiful house! And also thanks for allowing our furry family member! She lives the beach as much as we do!

Wonderful Week at the Beach

We just spent a wonderful week at DeBordieu island. The house was beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable and relaxing. We spent much of the time on the screened-in porches, listening to the waves crash on the beach. We were glad there was an elevator in the house at times, especially for the older folks. We loved it and hope to be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!

Wonderful vacation!

We had 5 adults and 3 children and a dog. Space wise, the house fit our needs perfectly. Loved all the living space, especially the screened in porch. Some small fixes would be appreciated by renters but overall it was a great time. Close to the beach, which was not crowded at all. Our dog loved taking his morning walk on the beach. We would definitely go back! And Susan (the owner) was very helpful with everything.

We love this house and South DeBordieu Beach!

This is the fifth year we've stayed in this lovely home, across the street from the ocean. It's very close to the 'end' of the formal beach, and lovely walks await through the 'ghost tree' forest and undeveloped land at the south end. We also enjoy excursions 'gater hunting' and crabbing on our rented golf cart and the beach club. The house is well furnished - and has two screen porches for dining with ocean views. We highly recommend (but please not during our beach week in August)!

The ideal location at Debordieu!

My favorite thing about this house was the screened in porches! The sounds of the ocean drew us all to these areas in the house---there are two!!! It was great to have beach chairs and everything you want to enjoy the sun and sand in the garage. We had a golf cart delivered to the house and totally enjoyed our weekend together. Susan, the owner was incredibly gracious and helpful at every turn!!

Fantastic Beach House!

Susan's beach house is a fantastic place to stay! She is wonderful to work with and makes the entire process easy and stress free. The house is perfect in every way, all the comforts of home-everything you would need is there. And this year even more so with all of the updates-in the kitchen and bath- beautiful! We- there are six adults- have booked this house multiple times and have a great vacation every year! Love having meals on screened in upper porch just outside of the kitchen.Proximity to the beautiful and uncrowded beach is awesome! Perfect house and beach! Betty J. & family

Nice house. Very responsive owner!

The house had plenty of room for 8 adults (3 were college-aged) to spread out or to gather together. The kitchen was spacious and made meal assembly easy! Short walk to the beach (as in across the street!!). We had an unexpected water leak the first night and the owner was exceptionally responsive, taking my phone call & getting someone out immediately on a Saturday night! It was appreciated!

Great beach house!!!

Our family of six adults had a great time at Susan's beach house! We have rented this house several times before and a have always had a very good experience every time. The house is beautiful, and well kept, and is spacious. When we were not at the beach-which is incredibly close, we spent most of our time in the upper living area and on the large screened in porch just off the kitchen. This house is like our home away from home--we love it and plan on returning again (and again ) Susan is always very attentive and welcoming to her beach guests. Thank you Susan for allowing us to enjoy a super week at the beach! Betty J & family

The boys and men in my family are into inshore and deep sea fishing, thus we spent many a summer at beaches so they could do what they enjoyed while the girls and ladies did what they enjoyed; shopping, cooking, sitting on the beach with a great book. Debordieu provided the best of everything and closer for all of us. It is home away from home.

Deboridieu is so peaceful and serene, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of the other beaches. It offers what I really wanted in beach visits, a lovely place to stay with gorgeous surroundings with little noise from the outside world.

The beds are confortable, the surrondings are pristine; sometimes early in the mornings I am the only person in sight on the beach. It is like a fairy tale place.
