A home and hopefully your happy place!

This home is located in the coastal Low Country of South Carolina in the beautiful beach, golf and tennis community of Debordieu Colony. This private gated community is just south of Pawleys Island, S.C. and Litchfield Beach. Celebrate the sun, sand and sea at this lovely, professionally decorated, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath second row home with ocean and pond views. This home also features a living room/dining room with fireplace and wet bar and a downstairs den with fireplace and wet bar, front screened and open porches and a back deck with gas grill overlooking pond, an elevator, 4 TVs, wireless Internet, book library, great appliances in the kitchen, bicycles, beach chairs, fish sink. This home has a Sports Membership which gives you access to the 2 pools at the Beach Club, dining, fitness gym, tennis and golf, however DeBordieu charges $200 per day per rental for access for rental guests. If you don't want to use the amenities, there is no extra charge. DeBordieu also does charge $20 per vehicle to generate gate passes during your stay.

We were pleased to find this house available for Labor Day weekend, as we have stayed there many times before. It's large, beautiful, several sitting areas and across the street from the beach. A wonderful place for family to congregate!

Lovely home in Debordieu

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this comfortable and well appointed home. Nice view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

This house was fantastic and accommodated our group of 8 perfectly. We were here for a family wedding. The 2 family rooms and multiple porches were wonderful. Our host, Susan, was so easy to work with. I highly recommend this house for you stay.

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful time in this pretty beach house. The proximity to the uncrowded beach was very close, which we enjoyed. Sue was a very welcoming and responsive host!

Amazing beach house! Beautifully maintained, with spacious gathering areas and porches. We enjoyed spectacular sunrise views! Hostess was gracious and responsive to questions in a timely manner. Our family had a wonderful time and we would definitely book again.

Great location, beautiful beach and lots of space.

Great location right by the beach and a quick ride to the pool. Plenty of space and we loved having our dog with us. Susan was great to work with and very responsive.

Perfect Fall Family Getaway!

The beautiful rental property was ideally located across the street from DeBordieu Beach. Our check-in was super easy and the host was a good and timely communicator. The home was perfectly sized for our family of 8 plus a newborn.

Perfect Thanksgiving

This property had a very equipped kitchen. The layout of bedrooms was perfect for my family. Very easy walking distance to the beach.

Great Family Getaway and Birthday Celebration

Great house to host a larger family or group. Loved the two living rooms and well stocked kitchen. Susan was absolutely amazing to rent from! My 77 year old mother enjoyed her Birthday Vacay! Thank you Susan!

Great stay

We have been coming to Debordieu for over 20 years and this is now one of our favorites. Very convenient to beach and amenities and also plenty of space to accommodate all of our inside needs - remote work, read, catch up, eat, etc. There are numerous porches for a relaxing spot no matter the time of day. Sue was a fantastic host who made us feel at home - before we even got there.

Gorgeous home and location

We had a lovely time on Debordieu, the house is perfectly located, short walk to the beach with views of the ocean and enjoyed the waterway out back with a blue heron. The house was fully stocked and included beach gear (chairs, boogie boards, beach cart). The best was the communication from our host, easy and quick responses before and after the trip.

Great House and Location

This home is well laid out and equipped. Great view of the ocean from front screen porch and short 2 min walk to beach just across the street. The owner is very helpful and made everything easy. Look forward to renting again.

Wonderful home with beautiful views!

Such a beautiful home with ocean views. Loved the ease to the beach. Owner was so helpful and friendly. Did provide some challenges with small children and all of the stairs.

Great rental house!

Our family rented this house for a week and everything was fantastic. The upstairs screen porch is perfect for relaxing and eating outside when weather allows. The location is perfect just across the street from a beach path. The owner was very communicative and hospitable, which made our week that much more enjoyable. We will certainly return in the future.

Great family vacation

The house was great for our family! Plenty of room to spread out. Very well equipped with everything we needed, beach chairs, toys, and more. The elevator was much needed for my husband that uses a cane. Beach access is right across the street. Beautiful home and wonderful week 🏖️🙌👍

Great house near a beautiful secluded beach!

My family if 6 (2 adults and 4 grown children, and 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay at Susan’s house. The house was spacious with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The proximity to the beach is fantastic (directly across the street from the short access path). The community is very quiet and the residents are very friendly. And the whole place was extremely dog friendly! Communication with Susan was a breeze. We would love to go back!

The Grayson Family Thanksgiving Vacation

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week at this beautiful home. The kitchen was a great gathering spot…we prepared many meals. The bedrooms were very comfortable, each with its own bathroom, plenty of personal space. Each bedroom had a deck connected to it, which was great. The deck on the top level with the fire pit was wonderful. I definitely recommend this home. It is comfortable, spacious, plenty amenities, luxurious. The community of Debordieu is very nice too.

Wonderful Week at the Beach

We just spent a wonderful week at DeBordieu island. The house was beautiful and well appointed. Very comfortable and relaxing. We spent much of the time on the screened-in porches, listening to the waves crash on the beach. We were glad there was an elevator in the house at times, especially for the older folks. We loved it and hope to be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach house with us!

Wonderful vacation!

We had 5 adults and 3 children and a dog. Space wise, the house fit our needs perfectly. Loved all the living space, especially the screened in porch. Some small fixes would be appreciated by renters but overall it was a great time. Close to the beach, which was not crowded at all. Our dog loved taking his morning walk on the beach. We would definitely go back! And Susan (the owner) was very helpful with everything.

The boys and men in my family are into inshore and deep sea fishing, thus we spent many a summer at beaches so they could do what they enjoyed while the girls and ladies did what they enjoyed; shopping, cooking, sitting on the beach with a great book. Debordieu provided the best of everything and closer for all of us. It is home away from home.

Deboridieu is so peaceful and serene, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic of the other beaches. It offers what I really wanted in beach visits, a lovely place to stay with gorgeous surroundings with little noise from the outside world.

The beds are confortable, the surrondings are pristine; sometimes early in the mornings I am the only person in sight on the beach. It is like a fairy tale place.
