This family-friendly home is located just outside of town, offering a peaceful country setting while still being only minutes from the heart of Downtown Hood River. It’s the perfect base for enjoying the area’s natural beauty, with breathtaking valley views and stunning panoramic double mountain views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams from the deck.

Relax in the hot tub just outside the primary suite and take in colorful sunrises and unforgettable sunsets. The home is situated along one of Hood River’s most popular road cycling routes, the Eastside Loop, which winds through the Lower Hood River Valley and connects easily to the Mosier Twin Tunnels.

You’ll have convenient access to local amenities and outdoor attractions, including The Event Site, The Hook, Post Canyon, and a wide range of recreation such as windsurfing, foiling, kiting, cycling, hiking and mountain biking. The spacious garage provides a secure place to store bikes and outdoor gear.

Absolutely stunning views from this amazing property! I stayed here with a group of girls for a wedding at Chag Rat Hut. Situated just a few minutes from downtown and the riverfront, it was the perfect place to escape to while still being close to all that downtown has to offer. We were sad to leave!

The view is spectacular, the home very clean and comfortable, the host very responsive to our question. Our bridal party spent the time there; it was quiet and peaceful and private. The home is well put together with all our needs met. We would stay there again!

Great house, close to town. But in the country where it’s nice and quiet and the view fromthe deck is fantastic. You can see both Mt. Hood and Mt. Adam’s. Nothing like enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, looking at Mt. Hood and all the green orchards. We stayed there for a wedding at the Orchard. If you are planning on having or attending a wedding there, book this place. 8 minutes from the venue. The kitchen has everything you need. The hot tub is nice. The primary suit downstairs is huge and has a walk in closet and huge bathroom. The bed is comfortable.

One of the most beautiful views in all of Hood River, you can see Mt Hood and Mt Adams easily, along with the rolling hills in between. Only 5 minutes from down town, this location cannot be beat.Pat was a gracious host and very communicative and understanding!

Great house with awesome views

This house has great access to downtown HR and the mountain. The view from the deck is perfect for happy hour every evening- no need to leave the house. We love it here and keep coming back to this house.

Peaceful beauty

This lovely home is tucked away in the hills away from the hustle and bustle is exactly what we were looking for. The view is amazing mountains and orchards for miles. Pat was quick to respond to questions and the house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Lovely home, gorgeous setting

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay in this home. The home itself is beautifully furnished and equipped, with many comfortable spaces for relaxing or working remotely. The views from the many windows are just fabulous. We would return to Hood River just to stay in this home, which is also very accessible to the city and the neighboring area.
