Everything was just as described! It has a lot of room to gather, eat, the beds were very comfortable, the space was spotless and there was off street parking for our car! It is also on a quiet street with very little traffic, in a walkable neighborhood. Communication from the owner was very easy and quick. I would highly recommend this place!

The ease and location of this property to get anywhere in Wichita is spectacular!! The property is decorated nicely and the quietness of the neighborhood made it very relaxing.

For a family of 6 (5 adults, 1 teenager), this home away from home was perfect and absolutely the best vacation rental we have secured to date. Our host, Alex, did an amazing job in creating a warm and charming environment with all the amenities you could ever want: premium TP, thick towels, a coffee and tea bar, TVs and mirrors in each bedroom, quality mattresses and pillows, lovely light fixtures in each room, and awesome AC. This house absolutely meets the mark and has so much character. Is it an older home? Yes, but it's so stinking cute everyone couldn't stop talking about all the features. Our host had great communication and clear expectations. I wish all Vrbos and that other site's homes were so great. Absolutely great bang for the buck if you are looking for hotel alternatives. When traveling back to Wichita, I will look for her properties first. Thanks Alex for designing your Vrbo with the guest in mind.

This property is in a great location - easily walkable to a pool, playground, and lots of restaurants. I appreciated the host’s communication and the easy check in process. The labeled light switches was a unique feature I hadn’t seen before but appreciated and the ability to do laundry in the unit was helpful. There was an ant problem thought to be related to recent rain and the host directed me to available bait to put out in the unit which helped. Overall, the property (especially upholstery) is in need of a deep clean with lots of stains which the host offered to help with but we declined as we were a very short 2 day stay.

Great location

The beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. Everything is as advertised. Everything is Organized. Bathrooms are small. We would definitely stay again!

Clean but in less than ideal shape - sloppy paint - damaged kitchen sink - very creaky old house - there was a nail protruding from hard wood floor. Host was great and very responsive. Electricity in downstairs bedroom / bathroom should be looked into. Lights flickered. Could be a fire hazard. The neighborhood was nice. Definitely heard highway noise being a block away from Kellogg. Overall, it met our needs for lodging. However, it is definitely overpriced.

Great house in Wichita

We had a great weekend in Wichita at Clifton Corner. The house is located in a charming neighborhood and had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely look up the house the next time we are in Wichita. Thank you, Alex, for being a great host!

Nice property, but needs TLC

The house was charming and met our needs, but I wouldn't stay here again unless updates were made. The house was clean and in a lovely neighborhood, but it is in need of some maintenance TLC. The wallpaper above the fireplace was falling off the wall. The kitchen sink was so chipped and peeling that I didn't want to use it. The bathroom shower tiles need to be touched up or replaced, as they are cracked and chipped. I thought there were bugs at first in the shower, but it turned out to be broken tiles. The front door sticks, so you need to push your body weight against it to open it, but watch out because there is a sharp screw in the front of the door that hurts when you do that.

The property was very clean. It’s an old home and the creaks on the stairs are pretty loud. The bathroom was very small for 4 people. The shower water pressure was fantastic! Our bed on the main floor was very comfortable. I loved having access to fans. Overall a very good stay.

We enjoyed our stay in this charming historic Wichita neighborhood. The location was central to all our activities and it was nice to have a park and pool so close! Our kids enjoyed having their own bedroom space upstairs. The communication with our host throughout our process of booking through our stay was very good.

This was a fantastic rental and we will use frequently if our kiddo attends Wichita. I loved the two kings available. The downstairs one for parents and a teen hangout upstairs. The upstairs has the king bed, and a twin in a nook that has a curtain for privacy. The other bed was down a short hallway and had its on air conditioning unit. Upstairs became a hang out for the kids and downstairs stayed quieter. The primary bedroom was at the back and by the restroom. The downstairs basement was an added bonus. We didn’t need to use but would have given another area for a group. The kitchen was really well stocked and there was a coffee bar and things for needed for mixing cocktails. The air conditioning worked well and the house stayed cool. The driveway was great to park in and the neighborhood was so quiet. We had no issues with check in and it was decorated so nice. It was priced slightly higher than some of the other rentals we looked at (5 in our party) but others seemed more cramped or had a bunk bed whereas this allowed each person their own space and privacy.

We were in town to see family, so didn't spend much time here, but everything was great! Especially appreciated that the light switches were labeled -- a small thing, but super helpful!

Loved its location in College Hill Park area. We walked every day in the very pleasant park. Didn’t realize there was no dishwasher but not really that big of a deal. The owner should put some light up stickers or lighting on the step between the second and third bedrooms. tripped on that in the dark - just easily solved safety issue…. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
