L & L Lodge (Leslie and Louise Lodge) - Beautiful home and gorgeous lake view! LOCATED in the gated community of Stoney Point Landing. Super easy access to the lake. With a quality boat ramp located less than 1 mile from the house, you can have your boat in the water in no time and return to the comfort of your vacation home. And with additional parking and a children's playground and pavilion located at the community boat ramp, everyone in your group is sure to have a great time

Dining room seats 6, with an additional 3 at the bar. Also, downstairs seats 6 at a table and 3 at the bar. On the porch there are two 6-top tables. Bedrooms 1-3 are on the main level. Bedrooms 4 and 5 are downstairs.

Relax on the screened in porch OR outside while playing cornhole or croquet. Enjoy the fire pit in the evening.

Only 4 steps down to the dock. Dock has 2 slips available and there are kayaks in the garage for you to explore the beauty of Smith Lake.

You will LOVE this lake property!

Six bedrooms/ 5 bathrooms. Sleeps 14 in beds and maximum occupancy of 15.

Bedroom 1: King size bed on main level.

Bedroom 2: Queen size bed on main level.

Bedroom 3: Queen size bed on main level.

Bedroom 4: King size bed downstairs.

Bedroom 5: Queen size bed downstairs. (Additional sleeping on fold-out ottoman downstairs (1 person).

Bedroom 6: Mother-in-law Suite, located above garage: Queen size bed, full bath and kitchenette and living area with couch and twin size bed.

Two bicycles for guest’s use. Must be returned to the garage after use.

Kayaks for guests’ use. Must be returned to their storage place in the garage after use. 2 adult kayaks and 1 child size kayak.

Security cameras: Located outside facing out from the house.

Wifi Internet provided.

Gas grill.

Fire pit.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY RENTER MUST MEET THE AGE REQUIREMENT OF 25 YEARS OF AGE.
* NO after-prom, graduation, frat, wedding, etc parties. Any gathering larger than the Max occupancy has to be preapproved. Violation will result in eviction.

The hosts were very communicative and prompt on their responses. They had all cook ware that was needed. Perfect location and perfect to house 8 couples and 2 singles. The water was perfect temperature! We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Lake Smith Rentals in the future. We will be back!

Family time getaway

The L&L lodge was an excellent place for my family to gather and enjoy the lake for several days. The house was just steps away from the boat house and the floats and paddle boats that came with the rental were very nice to have. The description of the listing was appropriate however the house was very dark. There were not many lights in the main level making the evenings darker than anticipated. It did appear that a fan/light was missing in the living room which would have helped with this issue. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would recommend!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your home. The only thing I was really surprised by was when we walked up to the front door, it was very, very dirty from the bottom to almost halfway up. That made me a little weary of what I would see when I opened the door, but upon opening the door, I was pleased with the accommodations. The other thing was, as nice as the screened in porch was, the cushions had mildew spots on them, thereby caused a mildew smell when you tried to sit out there. I know it had rained, but this wasn't the reason for the smell. I believe a thorough cleaning of the cushions, or replacing the cushions would be the best remedy. Thank you again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setup! Our son was getting married at The Barn at Shady Grove, and L&L Lodge was ideally located—just about 20 minutes from the venue and approximately an hour and 20 minutes from the Birmingham airport, which made travel so easy for our family flying in.The home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfect for gathering with family and friends. Everything was well maintained, thoughtfully arranged, and truly felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly it was, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Andrea was a wonderful host—very responsive, helpful, and made the entire process seamless. It’s clear she takes great pride in her property and her guests’ experience.We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!

Peaceful- Even with a youth group

Reviewer Comments: Here's a polished version that keeps your warmth while making it flow more naturally:Our group needed a place to get away for the weekend—to spend time studying Scripture, growing together, and enjoying some fun on the water during our free time. L & L Lodge was the perfect place for exactly that.The cabin is spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed to keep a large group of teenagers comfortable and engaged. The layout is excellent, the home feels modern and well maintained, and there was plenty of room for everyone.The lake was peaceful and absolutely least until our group jumped in! The students had an incredible time swimming, kayaking, fishing, and boating. It was the perfect setting for both relaxation and making great memories together.One tip for future guests: be sure to plan ahead and bring all the groceries and supplies you'll need. The property is wonderfully secluded, which is part of its charm, but it also means stores are quite a drive away.Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place for our retreat. We made wonderful memories, had meaningful time together, and are already hoping to come back again next year. Highly recommended!

Also, there needs to be better lighting in the upstairs kitchen...maybe can lights. There were no glasses in the downstairs kitchen.This place would be better suited for a family with children. It has wonderful outdoor facilities. I just wish we could have made better use of them. Overall, this is not the house for us. It, however, would be great for younger people.
