Loved this place! The location was great, we became fast friends with neighbors, and felt like we were at “our own place” throughout our stay! The beds are comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed! We did miss our air conditioner a little bit but the fans helped out a lot. Overall it was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin. We loved it and would love to visit again! Very quiet and secluded. Amazing place for our family. The kitchen is equipped with great, quality cooking utensils. And the rental company was top-notch. It’s like they thought of everything you would need and fixed many of the annoyances you might typically find in a rental.

This cabin was beautiful and perfect for our sibling and spouses get together (8 adults). Plenty of room for us to gather, talk, play games, read etc. The beds were comfortable and the bedding luxurious! Our only regret was not planning a longer stay!

This was the coziest place we’ve stayed in for awhile. Beds were comfortable, lots of dishes to use, cutest soap/shampoo boxes, and living room was super comfortable. There was a cool snap while we were there so we got to use the fireplace. All in all peaceful and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

We Loved this cabin! The location, the view. Only concern was the shared dumpster was full and we tried reaching out but had no signal once we left. Everything you could need! Well stocked. We had from 10 months-75 years old and the cabin was laid out great for four generations!

Wonderful Stay

Our stay in Bucksport was wonderful. Home is clean and well decorated. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Short trip to Maine

The property was great and exactly as advertised. Although the home did not have A/C, all bedrooms were equipped with fans and the place was comfortable, even with the unusually high temperatures.

Great Thanksgiving

The property was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close enough to Brewer and Bucksport to shop. We had a wonderful time. Justin was amazing answering questions promptly and was able to help both before and during our visit.

This home is wonderful, we especially loved sitting in front of the large stone fireplace. The home is very well equipped and we loved the adorable kitchen and bathroom gift boxes with soap, shampoo, etc, a very nice touch. The towels, sheets, and blankets were good quality. The home is large providing a spots for a larger group to spread out and relax. The sunroom is large with comfy furniture but did have a musty smell and needed to be aired out.The home instructions were good but we could have used info/guidance on the fireplace remote and info on the neighborhood, such as does the home include access to the lake? ( if we had lake access we might have brought our kayaks or SUPs).Overall a wonderful place to celebrate our son’s graduation from UMaine with our family and good friends. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was very comfortable and cozy, and we really enjoyed the fire and the peaceful ambience of the location. The host was good with communication and diligently tried to help when we noticed an odor coming from the upstairs bathroom. They even sent a plumber out and offered helpful suggestions, which minimized the issue, though it did come back occasionally. Other than that and a little bit of dust, everything was great. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Graduation weekend with family and friends

We stayed this weekend for 3 nights for my son’s graduation from Maine Maritime Academy. Inside, the unit is so nicely equipped with most everything you need to make you feel at home. This spacious house provided us with a very nice fireplace to sit around on such a rainy and cool weekend after the graduation festivities.

Umaine Graduation

Poperty is very private in location and absolutely amazing. House was very clean and well equipped for all needs. We hosted a couple of dinners in the dinniing room. The kitchen had everything we needed for our lobster bake night and our italian night. We would highly recommend this poperty if you are looking for private and spacious home.

The bedroom on the main floor was in close proximity to the bathroom and had a king size bed. Everything was clean well organized and felt new.. The cabin is cozy and clean and really well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need to cook, bake and even entertain! Everything has been updated beautifully and the bedrooms are very nice and I don’t think we’ve ever rented a house with more comfortable beds! We all slept amazingly well! The cons are the communication with the owners. This cabin is managed by a management company which is always more difficult to deal with - extra paper work coming from outside of VRBO, double messages, etc. During our stay I did have some questions about lake access (there isn’t any) but the answers I got were clearly generated by AI, as they told me a wonderful lake to visit was Lake Eerie. The owner seemed to jump on to answer my questions when I replied with confusion but he/she also did not answer my questions about lake access, instead pointed me to towards the rental binder which seemed like it was also compiled by a bot or someone not familiar with the area or even Maine. Overall, we were split bc the house is nice but the area and communication lacks. Oh last thing - there is no sound buffering throughout the house! Even whispers can be heard through! :)

What a disappointing review for such a great house. As a native Mainer, I compiled the information in the binder myself. I cannot imagine what you are referring to when you say it was put together by someone not familiar with the area.... yes, you got an AI answer referring to Lake Eerie. How bizarre! Clearly an IT glitch. It happens. As soon as I noticed, (only minutes later as I recall), I got on and answered you fully. We do explain there is no lake access in the listing. I pointed you toward the binder as it lists three lakes nearby with easy public access. By the way, I am part of the small management company --not the owner. At any rate, I am going to focus on all the good things you mentioned ... it is a great house, immaculately kept and definitely in a beautiful area. And I do hope we see you again!
