WENDOVER DUNES, Palmetto Dunes newest neighborhood (completed April, 2002), is located in the prestigious Leamington area next to the Barrington Enclave, just 200 yards to the Atlantic Ocean.
This villa (brand-new April, 2002) features 2 master bedroom suites, each with spa tub, separate shower and walk-in closet. The first master suite by the screened veranda features a King size bed while the second master bedroom also has a King bed and veranda.
The foyer entrance features a half bathroom and hallway to front master bedroom and living/dining room. The open floor plan offers a fully equipped kitchen with Corian counters, 9 ft. ceilings, large living and dining areas professionally designed and luxuriously furnished in the British West Indies style. The living room has a sleeper sofa, large screen TV and internet capabilities. Enjoy the comfort of ceiling fans on the private, full-length, screened verandah.
There are only four units in each of ten buildings in Wendover Dunes. Our villa is a 1st-floor villa with over 1600 square feet of living area. There is covered parking and a landscape view. The beach is only a 3-4 minute walk past the pool and a path between Somerset and Barrington oceanfront complexes.
The shared beautifully designed pool area features a Jacuzzi, separate children's pool, lovely gardens, grill area and direct path to beach. There is private covered parking and secure bicycle storage.
BIKE RENTALS - We have arrangements with Riding Tigers (a Palmetto Bikes Company) to obtain discounted pricing on weekly bike rentals for our guests. In the summer, reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance as we run out of bikes every week. Our price includes delivery, pickup, locks and baskets.
BRING YOUR LAPTOP! We have security enabled wireless internet.

Love this place! The host was amazing! Easiest, cleanest and all around best experience through VRBO so far! The beds are incredibly comfortable as well.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Wendover Dunes. A big shout out to the owners who were lovely—friendly and communicative from start to finish. Updated appliances and the kitchen amenities were plentiful. The villa’s screened in porch was our favorite spot. The complex’s pool and hot tub were clean and hit the spot after a day at the beach. Short walk to beach was also a plus. Thank you for sharing your beautiful beach home—we are already looking to book again.

Of all the many condos we’ve stayed in at Wendover Dunes, this one was the best - best furnished, best equipped, nest location, best everything! Andrea is on top of it and saw to it that every detail was attended to. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION if you are looking for a wonderful property with luxury amenities, the ocean mere steps away, and a pool for added fun!

Great property in Palmetto Dunes. Very clean unit. Host was so easy to communicate with. Everything went very smooth for our 2 week vacation stay. Love the under unit parking. Short easy walk to the beach.

Great location!
The owners had great communication with us before, during and after our stay. The property is conveniently located to the beach and several restaurants.

Wonderful accommodations
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect for our family and very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the short walk to the pool and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Beautiful place in a lovely area of Palmetto Dunes. Loved the screen in porch and the relaxed atmosphere.

Month in Hilton Head
Location was great. The only negative was mold in showers, dirty filter in coffee pot, and clothes left in dresser,. Would stay here again.

We love this place!
We stayed at this villa every year since the pandemic. Planning to come back again. Very clean, beautifully decorated, 5 minute walk to the beach. Great community swimming pool 1 min away from the doorsteps.

Perfect villa! Everything we need for our family stay we had in this unit. This was our second visit to Wendover Dunes. We will be back again!!

Well-kept, well-appointed, beautiful condo on the first floor. Had everything we needed. The owners were very responsive, exceedingly above expectations in that regard. I recommend highly, and I aim to book here again.

Fantastic property
This property is the best weve stayed in. Great location. Beach path is very close. Pool is centrally located. This unit is very large, well stocked, & very comfortable

Beautiful villa with veranda
This unit may have been the nicest I have ever rented on HHI. Loved the screened-in veranda & spent most of our time on it after a day at the nearby beach. Will definitely rent again!

Another great stay!
This was our 2nd stay at this property. Condo is very clean and well furnished. Love the screened in back patio. Short walk to both pool and beach. Great communication with everyone when we had questions. We will definitely stay again.

Wonderful accomodations, beautifully decorated, kid friendly. From the front door to the beach was .5 mile, a bit of a hike, but great for working off the ice cream. We hope to return.

Wonderful Vacation
My family had a wonderful experience at this condo. It’s well equipped with a great location. Had a slight issue with the WiFi at the start of the trip & the property manager & owner were quick to respond & assist. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
