The house is beautiful and being right on the bay was exactly what we wanted.Morning kayak rides, shopping in Suttons Bay and Glen Arbor. Hiked the Empire Bluff trail in Empire, visited a few wineries and then coming back and sitting on the deck looking out on the water with a fire was the perfect girls weekend getaway. Communication was easy and always Responded quickly, The hosts were exceptional and there was a little treat left for us as well;) Highly recommend

Sensational Suttons Bay

Wonderful stay at this fantastic home. Conveniently located near wineries and hiking trails, and just a short drive to TC.

Great house with everything you might need or want! Host is very responsive and accommodating. The location is great for accessing Traverse City, the Leelanau Peninsula and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This was our second stay and we hope to return soon!

The Beach House was the perfect home to rent for a family getaway as our Clan of 6 enjoyed this location! The views from the porch and deck were stunning looking out at the bay! Our grandsons enjoyed the little beach and searching for Petosky Stones with success! Loved having a dock to walk out and siting on the bench for sunset cocktails made for a relaxing way to end the day. Suttons Bay is a charming & quaint village with nice shops, parks and dining. Mawby Vineyard is about short mile and a half from the house and if you like sparkling wine it is a must to visit! Fishtown and Sleeping Bear Dunes is a short drive away and a nice scenic drive to the shores of Lake Michigan. David our host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had for technical service, etc… we are appreciative that he has opened his beautiful home for all of us who prefer to rent. Looking forward to going back in the future!

West Bay at it’s finest!

The accommodations of this home are absolutely fabulous! Interior is beautifully decorated, super clean and comfortable. The setting is like a dream, beautiful sandy water, so quiet and peaceful….and close to all M 22 area has to offer. It was an amazing vacation.

Fun late-summer weekend

Convenient location with beautiful sunrises. The two upstairs bedrooms and baths were perfect for our little ones and us. We'd certainly welcome another weekend here!

Great stay on the bay

The house was wonderful for a couples wine tasting weekend. Communication with the host was great, along with a great book of instructions and suggestions providing answers to everything you could wonder about the area. Definitely plan on using again.

Perfect lake front property

We had a girls trip for a long weekend. We will definitely be back! The place was spotless, comfortable and absolutely perfect. Sunrise on the back deck was amazing. Everything about this house is inviting. We can’t wait to visit again!

October long weekend. Biking, hiking, visiting wineries.

This house is beautiful and in a wonderful location, close to Traverse City and Suttons Bay. It is a lovely home right on the water with a nice dock out into the lake. Communication with the owner was easy! Thank you for letting is stay in your beautiful spot.

Highly recommend this beautiful waterfront property!! We really enjoyed our family vacation!! The house is very well equipped - great kitchen, eating area, gathering spaces, outdoor spaces and lots of extras including kayaks, games, puzzles and bikes. Although we did not have any little kiddos in our group, there were many things for them as well. The location was perfect for many different activities - wineries, golf, shopping. Everyone enjoyed spending time sitting on the bench at the end of the dock listening to the sounds of the water while observing the beauty of everything surrounding it!!

Little Piece of Heaven

The owners have truly thought of everything. Great selection of garage games, beach toys, water toys, hammock, gas AND wood fire pit…just add your favorite people and it’ll be an unforgettable trip.

We had an incredible time - absolute perfect location for exploring the Leelanau Peninsula, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Suttons Bay and Traverse City! The house itself is the quintessential lake house - gorgeous views from everyroom in the house, easy access to lake for all watersports and swimming, beautiful outdoor spaces for relaxing. The hosts are so welcoming and provide every amenity one could ask for including wonderful recommendations for activities and restaurants. book immediately - you won't be sorry@

The perfect week in the perfect home in the perfect location!

Can’t remember if this is our7th or 8th time to return to this terrific home! Had a week of fun and laughter, sunrises on porch, great food, cycling, fishing trip, water activities, fireworks and more. The house is exceptionally clean, well appointed, very comfortable! Host is very accommodating and responsive to anything to help make your visit the best! Wonderful family memories. Hope to return!!

Highly recommend this house!! The water so is so clear and clean and the house is very newly updated and feels very clean and taken care of. We spent most of our time in the water, on the giant back porch, or at the bonfire each night. My family was beyond happy to find this house and plan to be repeat visitors! We are all from Michigan and familiar with the area, but have never stayed right in Suttons Bay. The owners are so sweet and left us a little treat in the fridge to welcome us. :)

Wonderful week spent on the lake!Fabulous house, all the amenities you could want. Coffee, blender, utensils, you name it, they had it all! Tons of fun lake toys for the kids, beautiful beach and dock for playing in the lake. The house was clean and bright. We did a lot of daytime excursions to different towns and we never drove more than one hour. Perfect location. The real gem is the lake. We’ve stayed on the lake before but never like this. Crystal clear water and packed sand for as far as the eyes can see. Would rent again for sure. Communication was great!

Beautiful, like-new cottage in prime location, family friendly

Our family has rented cottages in this area for 30+ years and we were looking for a clean, up-to-date cottage to rent in Suttons Bay, and especially on Lee Point Road, since their beaches have very gradual entry and shallow water, also calm for the little ones. This cottage was a real find! It has the king size bed, A/C and heat, and other amenities we appreciated and were looking for. It was very clean, and looks like a brand-new cottage! The decorations are beautiful and not crowded and the rooms are spacious with lots of bathrooms and two tubs. They have kayaks to use, bikes to borrow and the kitchen is well-stocked with basics and lots of serving ware. The deck gave us welcome shade to sit and enjoy the water during the day or in the evening. There are so, so many windows that even when I was preparing dinner, I could look out and watch the kids playing and enjoy the beach view. The proximity to the water is unusual for Lee Point Road, too. Many of the cottages seem to be across the road from their beaches, so this was extra special to have a cottage right next to the water. The beach was small this year but the kids had just enough sand to play in. We liked the detailed instructions Dave gave us, so we knew what to expect and what was expected of us. They even had a lot of ideas, maps and brochures for things to do in the area. Wonderful vacation!

A beautiful beach house

My family, 6 adults, had the best time at the beach house. The house was the perfect size. Each bedroom has a private bath, which is great. The beach is just steps from the deck. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed. Both interior and exterior is beautifully decorated and up to date. The kayaks and bikes are an added bonus which we took advantage of. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We'll be back next year.

Beautiful views and house is so clean!

We stayed here as two families with 2 4 year olds and 2 1 year olds. The views are stunning- the house was incredibly clean. There were two pack n plays and a baby gate which was nice. House has just about everything you need to cook and also has kids plates/utensils/cups. Highly recommend! Owner is very responsive. We loved it!
