Beautiful Luxury Waterfront Home minutes from Suttons Bay and Traverse City
PERFECT FOR FAMILIES! DIRECTLY ON THE WATER!
3 bdr, 3 1/2 bath, sleeps 6-8, 137' of frontage on beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay just minutes from Traverse City and Suttons Bay, Michigan. Available June - August for weekly rentals only, will consider monthly rentals and weekend rentals other times.
Beds - King in master bedroom on main floor, 1 queen in upstairs bedroom and two twin over full bunk beds in other upstairs bedroom.
Perfect for family vacations with sandy-bottom, shallow beach with very gradual grade (no drop-offs). Direct waterfront - no road to cross! Spectacular water views from every room in the house. Spacious front and back yard. Fires on the beach and dinners on the deck. 15 minutes from shopping and restaurants in downtown Traverse City and only 5 minutes from charming downtown Suttons Bay. A mile from the TART trail, a paved bike path that connects Traverse City and Suttons Bay. A great starting point for all the vineyards, orchards, towns and sights of Leelanau County including the towns of Northport, Leland, Glen Arbor and Empire as well as Sleeping Bear Dunes, of course.
Enjoy a glass of wine at sunset on the upper deck or a cup of coffee on the large covered porch overlooking the bay. Relax on the Adirondacks around the fire table on those crisp nights. Truly a paradise in Northern Michigan!
CLEAN HOME! Cherry cabinets throughout, master bath jacuzzi and tile shower, gas fireplace, maple flooring, and covered front and back decks with Trex Decking. Asphalt drive.
The carpeted master bedroom is on the first floor with a private pergola covered deck. The private master bath includes jacuzzi tub and custom tile shower. There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer as well as a half-bath on the first floor.
The living room overlooks the bay with gas stone fireplace and maple hardwood floors to bring the beauty of Northern Michigan inside. Comfortable large Room and Board sectional sofa and swivel chairs.
The kitchen is spacious with stove, oven, microwave, disposal, dishwasher and numerous appliances (soup-maker, rice-cooker, panini-maker, pancake griddle, toaster and toaster oven, crock pot, blender, ice cream maker and more). There is a bar area for a quick breakfast or settle into the farm table in the dining room surrounded by windows overlooking the water. More dishes, glasses and serving plates than you will need.
A beautiful staircase takes you upstairs to two large bedrooms each with private bath and walk-in closet, along with a comfortable sitting area. Each bedroom has a private entrance to the balcony which has a tempered-glass railing to provide spectacular unobstructed views of West Bay. Take a nap or read a book on this upper deck on the chaise lounge with large umbrella for shade.
There is a mudroom coming in from the garage for coats, shoes, beach towels and toys with sitting area and cabinetry.
The garage has a foosball table, ping pong table, dart board, TV, bluetooth speaker and Crate and Barrel sofa for hanging out on a rainy day. The bunk room has a play table with drawers full of Legos and Thomas the Train tracks for the kids. Cabinets hide board games and puzzles for all to enjoy. Books for adults and kids. There are two Schwinn cruisers as well as three kayaks (two adult, one kids) and a kids stand up paddle board for your use. Basketball hoop on the driveway. This home has it all!
Lots of outdoor space with covered and uncovered portions of deck with ceiling fan, adirondacks, table/chairs, gas Weber grill and outdoor Bose speakers connected to a bluetooth Sony receiver. Firepit in the sand for s'mores. A beautiful 300 foot dock juts out from the property (sometimes shorter depending on water level). Regardless, the water remains shallow that far out!

Preguntas frecuentes
Acerca del anfitrión
Anfitrión: David Ouyang
We have been vacationing in Michigan for years, but after our first visit to the Leelanau Peninsula, we knew we had found the place where we wanted to buy our vacation home. Our three boys may be the only people who love the area and our home more than we do.
Por qué eligió esta propiedad
The location is perfect. It is quiet and one of the only houses directly on the water on Lee Point, but off of busy M22. It sits between the charming towns of Suttons Bay and Traverse City and is a perfect launching point to visit all of the amazing towns, restaurants, vineyards, hikes, shops and beaches of the Leelanau Peninsula.
