Description: The Grand Oaks floor plan features convenient single level living with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, elevator access, and a covered entry. The open floor concept has a spacious 1669 square feet with cathedral ceilings in the living and dining areas as well as the primary bedroom. Mountain views can be admired from the open kitchen, living and dining room areas as well as the primary bedroom. The kitchen boasts custom cabinetry and is equipped with everything to prepare a meal. Enjoy a meal at the dining room table, play cards or put a puzzle together. Cozy up in the living room in front of the gas log fireplace or enjoy your favorite movie. The choices are yours! The large 19 ft wide covered concrete deck is a place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet afternoon enjoying the wonders of nature and the breathtaking mountain view. The spacious primary bedroom and bathroom suite offers a luxurious experience and access to the deck area as well as the living room. The guest bedrooms also have bathrooms offering privacy for each guest. Come for a short weekend or enjoy an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the top floor (upstairs, no condos above) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Fully Equipped with a great view!

We enjoyed a week here in June. The unit is well equipped with everything you’ll ever need. The location was great and elevator access was especially nice hauling everything for our 1.5 year old during checkin and checkout. The setup was great and perfect for our time with family. The mattress in the master bedroom could definitely stand to be replaced but we didn’t let it put a damper on our stay!

Snow skiing

We stayed here for a ski trip. There was plenty of room for everyone and each bedroom had a bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay

Snowy wonderland

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful property. We were delighted to have snow and when winter storm Izzy rolled in, the rental agency was flexible and let us stay and extra night for better driving conditions. Highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again.

Great time

The unit was clean, well equipped and maintained. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, extra pillow and blankets. The view was beautiful from the deck. The oven is small and low to the ground so that may be an issue for older people and those who may want to cook a large meal. The location was great as it was at the top and allowed space for walking around the parking area and explore without being on the main road. There was plenty of parking at this unit. We fished in the ponds but didn't have any luck in catching anything! We also enjoyed the pool one day after we found out it was heated! It would have been nice to have a map in the unit of the property to show where all amenities are located in relation to the unit in which you are staying. It would also have been helpful to have a list of available tv channels for the cable. We would certainly stay here again!

A new retreat for a family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views and weather were spectacular. We didn’t even mind the rain sitting on the deck. We will definitely stay at this location again. It felt like home away from home.

Great time in the mountains.

The condo was very clean with excellent views and all the comforts of home. The three bed rooms and the baths provide wonderful convenience and privacy for everyone. The clubhouse access for fitness, exercise, swimming and other activities provided much enjoyment. A great location in a well appointed unit.

Great view and central location

Awesome condo and view. The location is central to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and the ski resorts. Location is way up a mountain so you may need 4WD in the snow, it gets really foggy, and take some Dramamine if you get car sick but this is the price to pay for the views. Our only criticism is that the master bed mattress is almost unsleepable. It’s very old and sags at least ten inches and we are not heavy people. We almost moved to the guest room but the queen bed sagged as well. The mattresses are in desperate need of replacement. The shower water pressure is also way too low. It would be so nice to come in from a cold day of skiing and get a hot shower but the pressure isn’t very relaxing. Otherwise, beautiful place. Would come back if better mattresses.

Family ski weekend

Place was great. Located about 15 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. We skied at Beech Mountain. It was about 30 minutes from there. I would have liked to stay closer but property was great.

Christmas Vacation

The house was very nice. Everything was provided. Close to convenience stores and Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain and Appalachian Mountain. After a long day, the indoor pool and jacuzzi was the best. A great end of the day relaxation.

Best view on the ridge

We have stayed at Echota on the Ridge four times and this condo had it all. The view was long range and amazing. The condo was clean, comfortable and we'll equipped. Good wifi. Loved the private covered entrance. Love the pools here.

Beautiful!!

We ended up here after our previous reservation elsewhere fell through unexpectedly. It was a great alternative! We couldn't have been happier. This unit is exceptionally well stocked and apportioned. It's quiet and has a lovely view. The beds were comfy and we liked it so much, we are discussing coming back for a week next year!

Amazing Views!

Our family loved our vacation in this area. This is a wonderful condo with excellent amenities. We swam in either the indoor or outdoor pool and soaked in the hot tub almost everyday. We also enjoyed playing pool in the clubhouse. This unit has plenty of space all on one level and a large porch with gorgeous views. It is located within a quiet community close to many activities for all ages. We plan on visiting this area again and renting the same unit if possible.

The condo was well equipped and nicely furnished but was not very clean.

When we arrived we noticed that there was no water. I called foscoe realty and was told that the water is shut off and that it was on our paperwork. The person who answered the phone did not display the most customer friendly attitude and seemed irritated that I was asking for help. I finally saw it on tiny print at the bottom of one of the brochures they gave us. So the first 20 minutes of our arrival was trying to figure out where the water heater and turn on handle was along with the breaker box to turn on the hot water. 45 minutes from then we had hot water. The thermostat was the second point of confusion. It was electronic and there were no instructions. It was warm during our stay and the heat was on. We had to call again and someone from the rental agency had to come down and try to figure it out, which she couldn't. The property owners needed to be contacted and it was found that they had a passcode on the thermostat that they needed to shut off remotely. We never could really figure out how to get the temp right. One of the twin beds was very wobbly and looked as though a leg was broken. The queen bed had dirty linens and there was an empty bag of Doritos under the bed. We also found crumbs and a Skoal can under the couch. It was also not convenient that we had to pick up and drop off the keys at an offsight rental agency. I didn't realize this until after we booked. I am a frequent renter from air bnb and home away and don't feel this arrangement is the most convenient. The positives were the views from the porch, the condo was fully stocked for cooking and it was very quiet. All said, I probably would not rent from foscoe realty again.

Fantastic

Perfect for a getaway

The unit was perfect for us - family of five with three middle schoolers. Very nice and well kept. Amenities on the property are a big plus too.

Absolutely Perfect!

Everything about the condo was lovely. Beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, quiet. Wonderful view (when it wasn't raining and foggy!). Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful condo with wonderful view and conveniently located!

Beautiful condo. It was very clean and comfortable with nice amenities (kids enjoyed the pool with waterfall overlooking the mountain!) Elevator was nice to have for loading and unloading. I liked that is was gated, the community was lovely, very quite and peaceful. Kids got to see, bunnies, chipmunks and fireflies. It was nice to have all the kitchen accessories, made cooking in convenient and feel like a home away from home. Also, enjoyed the fire place (in June)! Will definitely be back!

Loved it. Will return.

Our busy family of 5 enjoyed a long holiday weekend in this condo. The kitchen is well-stocked and the furnishings are beautiful but also very cozy- we felt right at home! The views are wonderful and the ease of the gas fireplace was the icing on the cake. The indoor pool was a huge hit with our youngest children and we will be back to have more fun in the coming months. The location was perfect. Over our stay, we were able to visit Grandfather Mountain, spend an afternoon in Blowing Rock, shop in downtown Boone, visit the original Mast General Store and spend some time hiking. Thank you for allowing us to use your home to make memories!

very comfortable mountain retreat

We enjoyed this very clean, well appointed condo. The furnishing is high class and chosen with taste. The elevator made our arrival and departure very easy. The staff of Foscoe Rentals was very helpful. We enjoyed the heated outdoor pool, also the indoor pool looked nice. The vicinity to Boone is for grocery shopping and other needs very helpful. The views from the condo are unbelievable. We would return if our way brings us back to Boone.
